Die multi-facettierte Wertlosigkeit unserer aktuellen Regierung kann man wirklich nur sehr schwer in Worte fassen.

Since apparently in our today's society, you are only expected to look after minors, while the physical and mental well-being of adults justifies no societal effort and is exclusively the responsibility of each and every individual. If it wer e.g. only your private nextcloud instance or I don't know some other service that you only need to access personally, you wouldn't have to enable outside access into your network to begin with. That's what I do for my HomeAssistant for example, it's not reachable via Internet, but netbird is essentially a point-to-point vpn that allows my cellphone to access my homeassistant while not at home

So after what feels like two decades (though it's probably closer to one) I finally finshed reading a whole novel again. Apparently it is all the fuss currently everywhere, but if you like RPGs, give "Dungeon Crawler Carl" a try. I can absolutely recommend it!

@leckse @piraten_saarland ja schon klar. Frage ist halt wie das regulatorisch gehen soll. Effektiv sehe ich keine regulatorische Möglichkeit, wie man "illegitime Verwendung" von VPN von "legitimer Verwendung" von VPN in einer freien Gesellschaft unterscheiden will, hier müsste die europäische Kommission daher offen Farbe zu faschistischen/autokratischen Bestrebungen bekennen

@sashag@anarres.family there are DNS providers (mine for example does that, INWX) that have dyndns support. That way you can tie your actual DNS to your dynamic IP and don't have to go through some strange subdomain (or pay separate money to use your own domain)
