@_elena@mastodon.social That sounds like a pile of bullshit to me. If they had done 5 minutes of Googling, they would have known exactly how their support of Omacom would be perceived by large parts of the developer and open-source communities. People don't usually tend to throw heaps of money at random foundations with no research about who they are and what they're in the news for. At this point, one has to assume that anyone who chooses to support Omarchy does it because of DHH's views, not despite them.

@colinmford@typo.social Who in his right mind would use that kind of search engine? Are they just banking on people being too stupid to change defaults?

@distrowatch@mastodon.social Now that you mention it, I do try to avoid meeting people @colinmford@typo.social

@_elena@mastodon.social Dozens of posts per day!

@UweHalfHand @503bartley @cstross For me too. #2 for both "Melania" and "Melania Trump". It's rising on Amazon Germany too. #3 for "Melania" and #4 for "Melania Trump".

@SnoopJ The best part is how they messed up the Rho and fixed it by striking through the leg of the R :D @Elizafox @Daveography

@ZenHeathen@beige.party Thanks, I didn't know that! @colinmford@typo.social

@ZenHeathen@beige.party *tries to decipher that gesture* ...maybe his nose is itchy, and he likes pointing at random people? @colinmford@typo.social

@Aphelion@mastodon.sdf.org 🔥🔥🔥🍪 🔥🔥🖤 🔥

@Aphelion@mastodon.sdf.org I really like this one 🖤

@Aphelion@mastodon.sdf.org So sad yet beautiful, love it! 🫂 🌹

@Nead@social.vivaldi.net @Tutanota@mastodon.social Came here to see how many people had already posted this :)

@janriemer@floss.social @luna@lunar.place I remember the first time I tried Rust in the playground. Being a boring Java developer, I immediately proceeded to make trait objects and pass them into generic functions. My joy was quickly frustrated; first by learning that pretty much every generic library function has implicit Sized bounds on its type parameters, next by realizing that it was literally impossible to upcast a &dyn. I've made my peace with static dispatch by now, but back then, I was genuinely shocked ^^

@UweHalfHand @503bartley @cstross It's still #1 for "Melania", but it seems to have fallen back to #3 for "Melania Trump"

@Gargron@mastodon.social Haha, I love the "This is fine" one ❤️
