@jonny@neuromatch.social crypto is still limping along, the Ponzi aspect helps with that, and that prices are controlled by big players to make it look viable. But I think the llm thing will be basically dead in under a year, it's really expensive and can't work well enough to be useful, by and large.

I really like having a different memorized PW for each, written down in an obscure location that's easy for me to recover, but hard for someone else (I know which scribble in which notebook full of scribbled notes, good luck!).

@MissConstrue@mefi.social people do bad things, and then may try to do better. The problem with Plattner is there was no sign of accountability. He just seemed irritated at being called out, didn't ask for advice, act like he understood why people had a problem, none of that, and that was clear with the tattoo stuff, let alone anything else that came up. It's not just what you say about policy, you need to be trustable, and he isn't.
