20 years ago today “Mission: Impossible III” was released, with visual effects by Industrial Light & Magic.
We sneaked R2-D2 into a shot, and here it is.
What a dreadful place we are in where a mega billionaire says something like “You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens. I promise you.” and not be shamed by the culture and the people around him into making a public apology the very next day.
“Spider-Noir” is now playing on Prime Video. I recommend watching it in black and white.
A ton of very creative people worked for months and months on the visual effects for the show (of which there are a LOT) but you wouldn’t know it by watching the credits.
