It’s official. The attack on our cultural reach, including in French, and trying to limit our international trading partnerships, was a direct attack on Canada 🇨🇦 as a sovereign country. We will not be the 51st state. Never. Not even Alberta. The USA is a hostile country. Americans: this is on you. All of you. Fix it. I want to emphasize this one point that I suspect many Americans do not appreciate: “the US narrow merchandise trade deficit only exists because the US buys so much of its energy from Canada. Canada fuels American growth, supplying 99 percent of their natural gas imports, 85 percent of their electricity imports, 60 percent of their crude oil imports. I don’t think they want us to stop sending any of that energy.” I don’t mean you, our highly informed FediFolk, but the bulk of Trump supports, I would hazard a guess, don’t have any idea.
