Tattoo ink doesn’t stay in your skin, and when it moves into the body, it often causes harm https://www.earth.com/science/tattoo-ink-doesnt-stay-in-your-skin/ #health #skin #tattoo #tattoos

Question about a tattoo ❓ Is there any significant meaning behind a tattoo of a sword and red roses? (Something in the back of my mind says there is but I can't remember right now) TIA #Tattoo

For those wondering, my tattoo artist is Vegas, from Ruled by Venus Ink. They're a super-cool enby who is queer as hell and does amazing work 💕 If you find yourself near Seattle, and you need some ink, totally check them out! (I mean, just *look* at these! 🤯) https://www.ruledbyvenusink.com/ re: https://lgbtqia.space/@alice/117163737329542878 #LGBTQ #Art #Tattoo #Love #Seattle

I know this is weird, but it's also quintessentially Mastodon, because I need to tap the minds of a strange mix of chaos magicians, crypto-wiccans, math nerds, autists, artists, computer programmers, conlang enthusiasts, and general muckrakers. Does anybody know of a good way to generate your own "Magic Circles", sorta like the one below? I am working on my next tattoo design and I want to convey a bunch of information, densely packed in a way I can understand it and explain it to people when I show it to them... ...but I also don't want to accidentally curse myself or bind my right arm to some ancient lost deity because it just so happens that I accidentally recreated their exact sigils and signs. I've looked online and there are a few "generators" but they seem to be an equal mix of random garbage and broken jank. Any recommendations for... programs I could use to map one out, I guess? #art #magic #graphicdesign #tattoo #circles

Ah, rabbits have found their way back onto my pages again. Anywho, opting to go analog with the drawing-up side of designing some tattoos. I was craving the tangibly. I'll be poking this on someone this weekend. :3 #qttr #tattoo #furry #mastoArt #fediart

#Tattoo #TrinityKnot #Triquetra So my latest tattoo is healing really well, Mr DT did the design for me after I showed him some ideas I'd been looking at! Hannah has again done an excellent job 😄

What's the number¹ of tattoos that a person would have that they're almost guaranteed to get another one? (That is, if you've got 1 are you almost sure to get a 2nd? Or is it when you've got 3 that you're almost sure to get a 4th?) I don't have tatts, but I've heard they're addictive and I'm a bit curious. ______ ¹ lowest number #tattoo #tattoos

I'm rather pleased with something I did early this morning. I had been holding on to a few pictures of my ex-husband (along with 2 remaining wedding photos) and the house we had, as well as a couple pics of my parents. This was despite all of these having very bad memories. In the spirit of decluttering/minimalism, as well as self-care, I purged 100 pictures. I feel lighter already! Now if only I could do something about the tattoo I got with him that he has the mirror image of.... It's two black outlined interlocking male/male symbols, which doesn't fit my agender existence either. #Minimalism #Decluttering #SelfCare #Tattoo

Now to find a female #tattoo #artist in #Seattle that I like.

Some of the older newsletters on my site are getting a few random clicks from folks on the internet these days, and it reminded me that since I'm new to some of you here again, some of these are useful to better understand what it is I do if that's something you care to understand. In the article it says I've yet to take money for a tattoo, that point is now somewhat outdated as I have had one paid opportunity, and am continuously figuring out this space of being compensated for my time and work to in turn support the Ranch and our endeavors here and the thin line of which projects really just warrant total mutual exchange -- of which most of my projects are still just rooted in relation and "this needs to be done so let's do it". But anyway, this is what I do: https://sigillosacro.com/ritual-tattoo-an-offering-of-flesh/ #Tattoo #RitualTattoo #Ritual #Spirituality #Witchcraft #Pagan

Long Beach trip in a couple of weeks, very excited to work with this new artist. Have a big session with a dear client booked soon after that here at the studio at the Ranch, and we're anticipating probably a few sessions will be needed for that piece. By maybe August, before we start breeding and planting at the Ranch, I will have some time to travel to LA or San Diego areas to tattoo if anyone is located there and is interested. Emails are currently open! I've posted this before but have yet to move all of my tattoo pictures to the new computer, so I'm just adding it for increased visibility. Boosts appreciated or shares if you have friends who could use some tat magic this summer! #TattooArtist #Tattoo #Occult #Magic
