good morning, everyone! I'm Rachel, AKA Rachel Underspoon, a transfeminine non-binary artist and composer. today's #BandcampFriday , so now is a great time to buy my music! I make electronic music that borrows from, and shifts quite a bit among, genres, and I currently have four releases available on my Bandcamp page: ALL THE WALLS WILL FALL, released just this past June, is a more vocal-heavy collection of tracks about fascism, transfeminism, and mental illness, drawing heavily from drone, industrial, the icier side of trip-hop, and sound collage. the ghost fetish is a mostly-instrumental album loosely centered around the theme of anxiety around climate collapse. tgf features heavy synthwave and downtempo influences, and it's probably the most accessible of the four. eclipse is an EP of songs that didn't fit on nonbinaural. I didn't intend it to be as such, but it's a collection of songs about my own mental state, intensely personal and inward-focused even when the songs are telling a story. nonbinaural is a collection of early compositions from back in 2022 and the start of 2023. it showcases the energy that I had when I started composing music, just kicking out song after song because I finally had a creative outlet that clicked with my brain. all four albums are available at the pay-what-you-want level, with a minimum purchase price of just $1 each. my goal is to keep the barrier to entry low so that people in challenging financial situations can still afford my music, but if you can afford more, then please do! a brief sampling of my own personal favorite tracks: victoria red jackie one by one the lights go out what she left behind until the colors dissolve #Bandcamp #QueerMusic #TransMusic #Electronic #ElectronicMusic #Electronica #Synthwave #Industrial #Downtempo #TripHop #Trip-Hop #SpokenWord #SoundCollage #Ambient #Drone

Somehow at the moment it feels better to go for one or two albums at most and actually fully listen to them, savour them, try to grasp the mood the topics the meaning the beauty in there - hopefully.
