RE: @fediversecounter@mastodon.social
Quite a jump for mastodon.social in the last 24 hours. Could it be because of the #wirverlassenx campaign by German left-leaning political parties?

Being reminded of some of the things Trump tried to do but got blocked on by people in his own administration makes me worry about what will happen in the coming years when there are no people like that in his 2nd admin...

@vonKordke@mastodon.com.pl pretty weird take, offering channels people can follow to learn about things you want to communicate to them and then making those channels known really does not meet the definition of "virtue signaling" by any stretch of logic for me...

@Nonilex@masto.ai seems more and more like this was yet another fake deal. There's been so many... The rhetoric also shifted to talking just about an extended cease fire during which negotiations would take place... but it was already indefinitely extended unilaterally by Trump anyway...
@charlesdelavalleepoussin@mastodon.social @prolrage@todon.nl Well it's moderation and not knowing that account I couldn't say.
One of the things I would like to see improved in Mastodon and fediverse in general is that there'd be a better paper trail of moderation actions though. Well run instances tell you why they defederated with a certain other instance but there's nothing like that for accounts.
I hope it's obvious to everyone that if Trump had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize he would be starting wars and trying to annex territory anyway.
His petty letter to Norway about no longer focusing on peace is just him being sour about not being awarded the prize, not any proof that he would not be doing these things now with had it been undeservedly given to him...

@markloundy@mastodon.online @mastodonusercount@mastodon.social I recommend @fediversecounter@mastodon.social as a replacement. It was always less opaque than this one
RE: @theverge@c.im
"Already" doesn't really feel right here considering that many people hoped they'd be implementing it soon back when Galaxy first came out...
RE: @aaron.rupar@www.threads.com
He's such a pathetic liar.
Not a new song but a new discovery from the recent Bandcamp Friday haul for me. Phaserland's Resemblance in Machine is the best synthwave tune I've heard all year:

Resemblance in Machine
Always love going through what everyone is recommending via the hashtag on Bandcamp friday, just wish there was more time to do it each time.

@Luigi311@mastodon.social It's a great concept...are there any stretch goals that would give more reason to pledge?
