Welp. I think I got rate-limited by #YouTube. Every time I attempt to open a video now it wants me to sign in to prove I’m not a bot. (Which is pretty fucking hilarious coming from an outfit that’s used its bots to Hoover up the entirety of the internet). I was messing around with synchronizing YT channels to my #Peertube instance and must have tripped something. Now I can’t open YT videos on their site, Peertube or #Invidious. Maybe it will reset at some point? 🤦‍♂️

If you have an app that relies on alternative frontends such as #Invidious, #Nitter and others, it's often hard to maintain a list of instances. I had that problem with #UntrackMe and #CastLab, so a CI job now runs every day to maintain a list of available instances. I might add support for this to #Fedilab. @stux@mstdn.social - That's what i ihink when i see YouTube-Links here. Everybody who posted these on Mastodon, hasn't understand the Fediverse. Invidious is one click away with a Download-Option. Jakieś kilka miesięcy temu invidious kompletnie przestał działać, więc (z bólem) przestałem go używać i całkowicie o nim zapomniałem. Cieszę się, że znowu działa!
