I have made a cringe whoopsie. I found this really pretty statue of Aphrodite on Thingiverse forever ago and I loved that she had long very curly hair like my fiance does. So I printed it and included it in a few altar locations in the house. My buddy has been trying to get back in a relationship for a while now and I thought "Oh, hell I have these cool statues of Aphrodite set to print on demand. I should make him one as a charm to bring about love" So I did and I gave it to him and he goes "Why does she have 6 fingers?" 🙃 So, after I told my nurse of a fiance about them being AI generated, they took one and looks it over and gave me a fun anatomy lesson and I learned a whole bunch of new things that AI can't get right on a 3D model of a person. So if anyone has recommendations for Aphrodite statues or a good source for other gods that I can 3D print. Please let me know! It doesn't need to be historic art it just needs to not be AI I currently browse a lot of Geoffrey Marchal's work as he does 3D scans of statues, but they often kinda suck to print. https://www.thingiverse.com/GeoffreyMarchal/designs I also like mediu3D on Cults for their busts. @aredridel@kolektiva.social Also a note from the loved one of a tired nurse. Please don't respond to "Rate your pain on a scale of 1-10" With anything higher than a 10. Some nurses will get it and not be mad. Some nurses suck and will write you off as being dramatic and it might impact care. Related note, if you say you're at a 9 and they give you medicine that works, don't respond with 9 when they ask again. They're likely to start losing trust in you and might avoid giving more meds out of fear that you're drug seeking. Being honest when you're feeling better let's them know this is a med that can help. The 1-10 scale is standardized as much as it can be for a subjective chart, but there are physical queues nurses are looking for. So if you say you're a 9/10 and then they find you acting completely normal, able to function with very little help, then they may think you're drug seeking. Hopefully this info is helpful
