Moreover, if the government is allowed to act in this way, It's just a matter of time when any other political action is treated in exactly the same way. Oppressive governments always target a minority first, then get confidence to spread these methods to other groups they don't like. Such attempts must be recognized and denied by the society, that's our civil duty, if I might say so

We have to store content in blocks of chosen size, client then have to encrypt and pack the files into the blocks before sending to the server. And quota either calculated based on the encrypted size or decoupled from individual files using some signed storage tokens... ehh, mumbling. Thanks for the link though!

@ente@fosstodon.org well-well-well, I thought an individual library looks to you as a solid encrypted blob. Turns out, you can see the number of photos in there? What other attributes can you access? How is your solution better than, e. g. apple photos with advanced data protection?
