Unpopular thought.
Both can be true, and a lot of people are having this talk.
Self diagnosis is valid and saves lives.
And.
A surge in self diagnose and/or neurodivergence as an "identity" is creating chalenges to a lot of us, not only limited to doctors consultation rooms and pushing the usual ones more in need out of the picture.
The solution, imho, is more solidarity, inclusion, dialogue and awareness, not the contrary. But also patience and endurance.

Reached 1024 open tabs on my web browser on the phone. 2 to the power of 10.
Today i was happy for some seconds having found out that gender repulsed exists as a thing.
Only it is not the thing i needed it to be for that combination of words.
I feel annoyed and mostly repulsed by the idea of gender as a whole, not only for me. I would love not to be reminded that gender exists, and/ or that people of all types see the world though gendered eyes.
Or maybe i havent found yet the right term describing this.

Laying in bed.
Matbe interesting for other people sharing similar tastes of neurodivergence.
Got overestimulated and overdriven for weeks. Unable to get out of bed. Brain is active but unable to engage with my to do list. Physically weak.i cant be convinced to speak or listen to people speaking to save my life.
Now the interesting part. I know shutdowns. Even if i didnt: pulse slows down, hunger is gone, a ridiculous absence of the need to use the bathroom, sense of time and space very porous, sometimes ego dissolution.
Usually i know it will be over soonish because stomach starts making noises or salivating comes back.
(do other people get these parasympatic symptoms too?)
I have been in burn out since months and i am basically managing shutdowns. No idea how to get out of this (without taking a year sabatical planting cabages away from home).
