seems it is possible to use custom timestamps for python uuid.uuid7. assuming timestamp is in milliseconds and variable name is ct

ct = datetime.datetime.now().timestamp() * 1000
u = uuid.uuid8(a=ct)
su = str(u)
r = uuid.UUID(su, version=7)

now our r has a custom timestamp. we dont care about the right hand side as what we want is a random uuid anyway.

we can always pass a timestamp in seconds but that would go against the RFC for UUIDv7. doing so will get you a timestamp in seconds

the scoring metric in linting is kind of misleading and performative to me. i actually disabled this in our pylint pipelines. just let it error and let you know which functions, files, modules, specific LOC to fix.
