This is the same as what happened during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement. The reason we don't say "All lives matter" is because no one was asking that question. Black Lives Matter is a response to society, especially the police, decisively saying that Black lives don't matter and facilitating their literal deaths systematically and en masse. This is why there is a response explicitly saying that Black Lives DO Matter.
Similarly, if a Black person is explaining their very real struggles and feelings of isolation, that is in response to the treatment they've experienced. It is not up to you to litigate those experiences or feelings. They would not be expressing this if there had not already been a series of microaggressions or worse, straight up abusive behavior. It is not your turn to speak. Your turn to speak was to, if you're a moderator, absolutely ban the people who made them feel unwelcome, and if you're not, comment in their defense and back them up when they feel isolated.
It is not appropriate to bring other marginalized characteristics into the conversation and change the subject. If you're unwilling to engage in a polite manner in which you acknowledge and apologize for the treatment a Black person has faced, and you're not willing to boost those Black people, then the correct thing to do is to be silent and leave that person alone.
We've seen like 3 people that we've needed to suspend now going out of their way to fight what few Black people we have on the fediverse. We find it incredibly disrespectful, and racist, and we're not going to debate anyone on these matters.

These serial harassers have no life... We're suspending the user fasterthanlime @ hachyderm.io for harassment of a Puerto Rican FOSS contributor and being a sloperator (someone who ruins the environment and code quality using ai).
The FOSS contributor, that fasterthanlime harassed, created an open source list of software projects infected with ai slop, and was harassed into leaving the FOSS community by people such as fasterthanlime who love LLMs more than they love BIPOC fems in this community.
What they did was shameful. They have tens of thousands of followers on fedi and thousands on GitHub. They knew what they were doing.
Fasterthanlime even went and removed all references to Kat's associated projects, such as KDL, and kept publicly shaming her. This is highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
LLM defenders are not allowed on this instance, especially if they harass Puerto Rican comrades out of the FOSS community. This is awful.
Anyone coming to defend LLMs or LLM users in the comments will be suspended.

We're suspending @experimentmapass@social.trom.tf and limiting social.trom.tf due to ableism.
We don't approve of "The Fedilore Otter" due to their obsession with stalking the Black queer users of the fediverse. Currently they're implying that a queer Black user who called out the following posts fetishizing "brown women" and bragging about their nazi ancestry, is bad.
Calling out the absent reference isn't bad. The issue here is that transtina has used women of color as a fetish publicly and then also described their nazi ancestors as "fun lore", which to people of color whom were/are targets of fascism, isn't "fun" and can't tell if you're joking.
The fediblock hashtag was called for by a Black trans person in this case, and as a general reminder, the fediblock hashtag was started by Marcia X, a person of color, to protect against serial sexual harassment. She has a write up here where she describes being stalked and dealing with racism.
When you make a post about Black, Indigenous, or other people of color, you consent to people of those communities deciding if what you've said is appropriate, because you're talking about them, without knowing what it's like to walk in their shoes.
Fedilore Otter targets 3-4 Black queer/trans users consistently and often uses the marginalizations of the (almost always white) individuals that are being called out for racism to make them appear more charitable. For instance, they'll say something like, "a Jewish run instance" or "a transfem run instance" as if that allows those instances to host racist users with no repercussions.
One marginalization does not justify you being racist though.
In this instance, fedilore has implied that being trans and Jewish allows for racism, and by doing so, they've also erased that the Black user they're targeting is also trans, because they want to make it seem as a random cis person is attacking a trans person, but that is not the case.
A Black trans person has called out a white trans person for racism, and nothing more.

We don't understand why this is such a hard thing to do: just explicitly say transphobia is not allowed, and be done with it. It's so childish to respond with "I feel like I'm being bullyed". You have done nothing but show your cis white male privilege with that statement in response to that request.

She's back with yet another account. The block evasion here is really something else. She's getting up there with some of the best of them like "Linux is Best", "Dav1d" and "Jimmy Truth" at this point. It does not make you look innocent when you have this many accounts and you immediately target the same people over and over again.
Hopefully she sticks to targetting this admin account, so other transmasc people stay safe.

These are literally alt-right people trying to make you think they're libs. That's the betsy ross flag in their post though, and that's a well known american alt right symbol.

If you know how mastodon and gotosocial moderation works when it comes to block lists, at the time of import, you can check each and every new addition before actually confirming and adding to your instance's block list. It is not instant. We've verified every instance that we block and if anything IFTAS does not go far enough. They only add instances to the DNI list in extreme cases. We also use the TBS 90% heat rating list, which has a fully searchable list of evidence as to why every instance was blocked with screenshots and links to receipts.

Transferring the evidence from another account that previously did moderation work for this instance.
plasmatrap.com's admin uses a sexualized teenager in a school uniform as their avatar. Screenshot below. We limited them and set it reject images a while back but seeing as no one here follows anyone from that instance, we're suspending them.
The original reason for limiting in Jun 28, 2025 was:
one of their users posted a video of throwing a heavy object at an anime elementary schooler's head to knock her down and then show her underwear.
Followed by another incident where one of their users located one our user's place of work from an unrelated photo and told them to be careful in a DM. We consider this concerning. That user was suspended at the time. We will not post the DM to protect the identity of our user.
We will also not post the evidence for the lolicon as it is too graphic and would classify as CSAM in our book. We do not debate images like that or the one below and doing so will result in a suspension.
