@fesshole not a coder, but I did help out with IT in the computer lab in middle school, which involved a lot of figuring out why Photoshop broke on some of their iMacs every once in a while (most of the time it was another kid doing something dumb in the settings or the fact it had been sitting in direct sun through some of the windows.) I had a sample Photoshop document I would use to make sure all of the text editing and effects and brushes and stuff worked afterwards, but I forgot to tell the teachers I did it. A couple months go by and suddenly teachers are freaking out thinking someone installed viruses on the computers, because almost all of them had a file on it called "la-wiwi.psd".

@literalgrill@sakurajima.moe true!!! i am intersex and thus have a slightly more complicated relationship with gender and being The Trans, which when I was still kind of figuring things out people used to (and still kind of do) view me as a bit of a freak. mostly on account of not really caring about top surgery (which especially in transmasc spaces is kind of treated like the holy grail) and just having an absolutely awful time health-wise with HRT and stopping it only after a couple months. its a weird feeling to be an alien in your own skin, even more when the people who are meant to support you also think you're an alien. but I hope voices like those are the ones to be brought up especially!!

Hell, the urge never even crossed my mind. They just always seemed a bit too.... angular? to comfortably ride lmao. But also my main exposure to cows were mostly used for lasso shows so that just screamed to me "keep hands away!!!"

like this is maybe a 3-4 year old computer with relatively normal specs I'm not scared of problems there, the problem is that I primarily use this at school so losing files or having to fiddle with config stuff is Kind Of Bad
(I'm probably not gonna *full* dedicate it to Linux just for that reason, since I'm infinitely more knowledgeable on how the winblows file system and powershell/commands work and how to yoink things into/off of it in worst case scenarios) ((I am not only autistic but stubborn also so it takes me a very long time to get used to new things lol))
