I am no more worried about AI killing us all than I am any of the other thousands upon thousands of things that could potentially kill us at any given moment. I’m just going to continue living my life the best way I know how and refuse to live in fear. I am also not going to change in the slightest the ways in which I use AI.

Going through all of this junk mail, especially the probably 8 to 10 political postcards we got, I’m absolutely shocked at how much paper must be wasted around the country and world each day. Eventually we will run out of trees, and for what?

@keao@caneandable.social So the Mac is like iOS. if you are moving to the right, then your cursor goes to the right of whatever letter you are on. If you are moving to the left, your cursor goes to the left of it.
I realize that irrational hatred of AI is very popular right now, but as human beings who are supposedly capable of great empathy, one lesson we can learn from AI is to be kind and respectful in our answers to people’s questions, no matter how basic or complex the questions may be.
This makes me so angry, and I would fight this tooth and nail if I needed to go into a shop that had this sign. My Meta glasses are a disability related accommodation, one I am providing for myself at zero cost to the business. They are going to get sued by someone, and if it costs them everything and they go under, serves them right.

Hey guys! Hope you are all doing well. I should be around more this weekend. Work and life have been busy, but good. Hope you are all doing well. On the software front, I’m going to do one more test install of windows on my virtual machine program, and if that goes well, I should have a beta to share with you all soon. I truly apologize that this has taken longer than I hoped, but my goal is to give you something solid and usable and not full of bugs. Since I am coding with AI, I feel the need to prove the naysayers wrong and turn out something that is super polished, even for a beta, as many of my friends have done with their AI coded programs.

My initial impressions are that I really like FastSMRW. I really need push notifications, so I am keeping Mona around until those are implemented. I would also like the ability to mute certain hashtags or keywords. For some reason, I get an error when I try to quotea post. It’s not an error message, it’s just an error sound and the post doesn’t go through.
