Yes, you’ve heard that right. We are submitting Perspective Intelligence 1.11 tomorrow for review. This version will include an extremely fast live video mode that is made possible by some amazing on device models that should run on nearly every device.
Perspective Intelligence was the first iOS app in the App Store to offer Gemma 4 E2B on device with the exception of Google's official AI Edge app. We even used our own implementation of MLX-Swift that does great KV cache work so conversations to not crash after several turns. Let me know what you think of it. The model is still marked as experimental as it is unclear as to how it will work with all tools in the app.

There are a lot of developers who like the Github Copilot interface, but they don't like the pricing and structure of Copilot. One of the options offered in Copilot is Ollama local models. This gave me the idea to create an extension that adds oMLX models as a model provider. I've published an extension, and it is live as a preview version. (1/2)

I’m planning to release a new version of Perspective Intelligence and our new app Perspective Describe this week. Both apps will have a new amazing live video description mode that is amazing and you will have to see it to know how amazing it is.
Perspective Transcribe is now available for both iOS and macOS! With Perspective Transcribe, you can create transcripts of any audio whether you are taking notes, or transcribing an audio file. This even works on an Apple Watch!
All audio is converted on device, and you can even use Perspective Intelligence AI in the app to chat with your transcripts. (1/2)

So I knew I was going to build Beyond The Gallery, but I had no clue we were going to build two Perspective apps dealing with Shortcuts! This is amazing! You might not have to wait until iOS 27 to build shortcuts with AI.
Version 1.12 of Perspective Intelligence is coming soon! You will be able to use Perspective Intelligence with oMLX, the best way to use models built for macOS. This will work from macOS and iOS devices that can connect to a Mac.

So I am very surprised but I actually like Codex from OpenAI. It uses my skills better than Claude does, and it is right in the price point Like at $100 now.
Let's be real here. The next Claude Code replacement will be the service with a model that will actually keep its training data up to date, or keep a copy of the most up to date documentation on device for fast retrieval. We should not pay the money we do to only have to configure AI for specific workflows.

One of my tests when trying a new model is to ask what's the latest version of iOS. They usually have outdated information but Gemma 4 won't give you bad information. I got this response 3 out of 3 times.
Since software versions are constantly updated, the "latest" version of iOS changes frequently.

Perspective Intelligence 1.11.1 is out. That is a LOT of 1s! This version fixes a problem where VoiceOver users couldn’t download models. I'm about to submit a version that fixes a crash in the chat composer when pasting images.
Perspective Intelligence 1.11 is waiting for review. I forgot to mention last night that this version also includes the most accessible way to use Ollama outside of the command line. You can even use the tools that are in the app with your Ollama models. It is amazing! The Mac version should be along shortly as well.

So Apple has removed the older Pages Numbers and Keynote apps from the App Store. I was thinking they were keeping those around for those who didn't want Creator Studio. It makes sense to just have one set though.

This new LFM 2.5 VL model at 450 B is amazing! I have it in Perspective Intelligence after working with Codex to support in with MLX, and it is amazing! less than 2 second analysis times.
So I tried running OpenClaw with Gemma 4 E2B on a MacBook Neo. Here's how it went... Just don't try it. It was sooo slow and may have stopped responding.

You know, I don't actually hate that Anthropic is not going to allow OpenClaw users to use Claude account usage. I think that you should have to use extra usage for things like that. Again, I applaud Anthropic. It also makes sure less nefarious things happen with their AI models.
One of the actions I created in my new Perspective Actions app is a shortcut that is a research agent. It uses Brave search and Ollama to search the web and get information from sources. Gemma 4 26 B and Brave searched 5 sources and gave me loads of current Borderlands 4 shift codes. That is amazing!
