For the UK #allotment #permaculture #GrowYourOwn folk out there.. a big shout out for the lovely #SeedSavingNetwork folk OvMed gardens in London who offer all sorts of interesting seeds - 4 packs free and just pay postage. They are always looking for #SeedGuardians for any of you able to grow more and send seeds back. https://shop.omvedgardens.com/
Realise the world is a mess but ... look at this teeny tiny snail I found on the edge of our compost bin. 🐌 #permaculture #allotment #AllotmentLife #snails
Been procrastinating a bit and doing some speed tidying as a break from a big funding application. I was delighted to rediscover my ancient Scrabble box which was a 9th birthday present many, many moons ago. Freaky Frog has been the keeper of the tiles since the beginning and I made him in primary school - he was allegedly an oven glove but would have been a very ineffective one! #nostalgia #FrogsOfMastodon #BoardGames #Scrabble
Tomorrow is the 100th birthday of David Attenborough.. there will be lots of tributes and kind words said about him. Here is a quirky homage from Biscuithead and the Biscuit Badgers. A marvellous puppet and musical masterpiece which they did to celebrate his 90th birthday. Enjoy 😀 https://youtu.be/vVWm9GNRlQw?si=fCMcgvuMBbDr3BP7 #DavidAttenborough
For those of you who enjoyed #RentedInFinland think you will love #TheVillageBarber .. fabulous trio of Park Bo gum, Lee Sang yi and Kwak Dong yeon running a barbers shop with snacks in a rural village in winter. #kdrama
Any suggestions for reliable, ideally EU or UK based #webhosting for a UK #CommunityBusiness just needing a basic website and emails.. and no we don't want to do #SelfHosting before you all say that's easiest! We were with tsoHost for years who were initially great but that went horribly wrong in 2022 when they got bought out by someone bigger. We moved to Hosting Unlimited but having some issues around domains we have paid for but they haven't told Nominet so our site is suspended and pending deletion... and customer support is non existent. Any suggestions gratefully received.
@PabloMartini@climatejustice.social there is an excellent short film about this Overview Effect based on interviews with astronauts. https://youtu.be/CHMIfOecrlo?si=jD2RSANCS7VsC-b0
