@thomas@beige.party I use obsidian.md with the tasknotes plugin for this. It's a bit of a set up and learning curve, but very helpful for this kind of thing once set up

I'm glad that works too :) I use regular task lists for my reference tracking in academic work, so need something to filter the life/admin things from work tasks and pull them from everywhere in the vault while integrating that with my daily notes and calendars... which tasknotes (and tbh, combined with the tasks plugin) do quite for me 😅 I may have a problem of being too into all the plugins 😂 😑

@Binder I'm fully in favour of UBI, as long as it is combined with (and does not detract from) universal basic services. UBI can give people negotiating power, choice in work and free time, but it could also be used to justify defunding public services including healthcare, education and housing, and exacerbate commodification of these services. We need both for a truly emancipatory system.

@jiva@devoe.social I'd recommend reading Winners Take All by Anand Giridhardas. It highlights the very real harms that charity serves to cover up. Additionally, charity models exist because of increased wealth inequality and lower taxes: we wouldn't need charities if governments were providing adequate social security. Private charity systems mean lower public accountability for what the money is being used for. @mrzaius@hachyderm.io @uliwitness@chaos.social
