Next time I use a collection from an archive I hope to remember adding a footnote to thank the (possibly anonymous) archivist!

I think I had almost all of them, but it could be up to 10 more are hiding in books I didn't check.

The bookmark count goes up quickly when you often buy books from local authors on your favourite fantasy fairs! (Where in this case 'local' means Dutch)
Very often they'll include a bookmark matching the book, and often enough when the are there together with other authors under the same publisher, which is always the case for the not self-published authors there, they will throw in some bookmarks from other books there as well! Thus I have quite some doubles!
And sometimes when an author has gone through all of their bookmarks they even apologise for not having one anymore!
And then, when you buy a book at a physical bookshop or a second hand bookshop, you often receive a bookmark of them as well!

So, sometimes when someone gives me a book as a present, I can see that they went to an actual bookshop, and I love that.

@Aurora_Bee@deadinsi.de The article does mention though the fact that there are a lot of switches that are not regularly used, and that those switches are locked into one position in wintery weather. It would be indeed a waste of money to heat such switches. :ms_shrug:
They also say that there are usually 'other factors' where trouble comes from in wintery weather.
No further explanation is given though.

For I would love to be able to bridge yr geiriadur to the WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), so it could still be consulted ar lein by people who try to reduce smartphone use by going back to the old Nokias and such. For a lot of those devices are capable of connecting to the internet, although mainly needing WML-formatted pages. (Which fell out of use)
