Its editor might be oversimplistic sometimes, but I see it as a feature, because thanks to that I don't spend too much time making docs look perfect.

How little we were able to accomplish despite the work we had to put into design. And now? This - this is a work of art. I couldn't be happier with what we achieved and where are we heading with CSS.

@afterdesign@infosec.exchange Gotta admit, since I discovered #Snapseed a few years back, I have never found better tool for processing photos. Of course, there are newer, more functional, but none of them could pack those features in such a neat manner as Snapseed does.
About management and backup - #Immich is probably what you want. ;)

I recently did #GiveUpGitHub and moved all my repos to @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de and a personal @gitea@social.gitea.io instance, while leaving behind only those that are forks of GitHub-hosted #FOSS projects. It was fairly easy for me, as I do not maintain any popular repo, and am not tied to any org using GH, but I strongly believe that every person counts. A true revolution is a sum of many small disobediences and riots. Fuck #BigTech, let's regain control of what belongs to us, people.

I did not know about the situation regarding #Booklore and oh boy what a read that was.
Situations like these only reinforce my scepticism regarding immature and (especially) AI-assisted self-hosted projects. After all, my family and friends who use my services do not care about drama happening behind the scenes. They need a viable alternative to #BigTech, and uncertainty is the opposite of "viable".

@afterdesign@infosec.exchange this is one of many things I have a label printer for. I check the cable capabilities and print a label. Old USB cables might not be best for charging it or data transfer from newer devices, but are still well suitable for things like programmes or microcontrollers!

@pluszysta@mastodon.online smutna prawda jest taka, że nikt nie zwariował, po prostu tak to działa. Nie liczy się wydajność i efektywność, ważne by inwestorzy byli zadowoleni. Mamy teraz oczywiście bańkę, tak jak to było z dotcomem, choć teraz jest to bardziej szalone. Przede wszystkim chodzi o to, by jak najwięcej pieniędzy zabrać 90% ludzi i to wszystko przenieść do tych 10% najbogatszych. U nas może tego nie widać, ale w USA były wprowadzane deregulacje, które pomogą odebrać ludziom oszczędności w ramach m. in. 401k (taka forma emerytury). A przy okazji jest nadzieja na wyeliminowanie ludzi z procesu pracy, aby nie "marnować" pieniędzy na jakieś białko, które powinno tylko konsumować. Plus AI jest tak budowane, by uzależniać, przy okazji dając zajebiste narzędzie do wpychania konkretnych narracji. A zwolnienia, przynajmniej w sektorze IT, wynikają ze zbyt optymistycznego zatrudniania na początku lat 20, AI jest tylko wymówką do zwolnień.
Tak ja to interpretuję, przynajmniej na tym etapie swojej wiedzy.

Fortunately neither I nor my partner didn't spot any striking issues with the contents. Though I can't really grasp what those "Enrichment Plants" are supposed to be and why are they under "Toxic Plants".
