@Willow the only "epic saga" at this time is the one my parents say they have to embark upon before they can stop misgendering me :neofox_flop:

@ljrk@todon.eu I take two to three weeks producing one or twelve git commits where each message is 2-3 times as long as the diff /lh

Every bit of your program needs its own OC, basically. The rest will happen naturally :BlobCat_Flirty:

@starsider@valenciapa.ws yeah, I obviously didn't use an actual LLM in the making of this post. I tried a little! The results were, uh, let's call them uninspired, and also not representative of my experience dealing with this feature in code editors

@Jessica@kitsunes.club @sodiboo@gaysex.cloud funny enough, the only time I see e.g. Cody by Sourcegraph reliably give me good suggestions is when I'm writing comments, error messages and the such — and, at that point, I want my software to use *my* voice. I've *earned* that :starkles:

@daswarkeinhuhn@netzkae.se I *was* going to guesstimate an amount based on information floating around on the internet, but then stumbled on this quote “The volume of humpback whale ejaculate delivered to females during copulation is not known.” Craig et al, 2002 (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Louis-Herman/publication/252745503_Male_mate_choice_and_male-male_competition_coexist_in_the_humpback_whale_Megaptera_novaeangliae/links/546fb2af0cf24af340c093c7/Male-mate-choice-and-male-male-competition-coexist-in-the-humpback-whale-Megaptera-novaeangliae.pdf) and I think that'll do actually

it's funny that vampire crawlers is technically a much better game than vampire survivors, and that's what makes it have a much shorter staying power

"going infinite" is very easy (like in survivors), you just google the guide and it takes relatively little unlocking to do (okay: it's a bit more work in survivors). but, making it work in crawlers still requires you to engage with the game, and if you get unlucky enough with the level ups it can actually be even a little challenging. you'll even take damage sometimes.

but challenge and engagement is not why you play survivor; you do it because you need to dissociate for ~30 minutes. you play vampire survivors in bed until you realize that your gaming device has become too heavy to hold and it's time to turn it off, flop over, and pass out

most people (hi) don't have a built-in "dissociate" button, and this game is (at least for me) one of the few reliable ways to trigger that headstate (on my own). and that gives vampire survivors its staying power

@rugk@chaos.social my workplace doesn't pay for the intellij AI (we bought into the sourcegraph ecosystem; tbf, their code search IS really good) but I'll be on the lookout for that one if that ever changes
