@eclectech@things.uk and this is why I like mastodon. I find weird Mastodon people doing weird stuff and it makes me smile. Myfanwy is a great name for a knitted chicken as it turns out.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a journal I can send a paper using network analysis of Twitter data to explore the science reform community's structure?
- Meta Psychology is out because the study wasn't preregistered,
- RSOS is out because I send all my papers there and it's getting embarrassing,
- Psych Sci is out because they rejected the paper,
- and Collabra is preferably out because I am an editor there and my husband is EiC
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
@jrboehnke@mastodon.social @cyrilpedia@qoto.org thanks for amplifying Jan! 🤩
@sheepnik@toot.wales @eclectech@things.uk I love it!! 😃
@ruthmac@mastodon.online hello and welcome! 🙋🏻♀️
@dbellingradt@historians.social this is such a wtf thread, but I love it extremely. Now I’ll see screaming faces in city gates much more readily! 😄
@lffontenelle@mastodon.social thanks for the suggestions! These are good!
@georgepenney@sunny.garden following, in anticipation of next “market day” observations post! 🤩
@chartgerink@akademienl.social abstract usually but you quite often see the title first which I also pay attention to. Lastly I look at journal - not predatory obviously, but the journal being committed to transparency is also important to me.
@dbelveze@mamot.fr it’s a good question. It’s probably not an issue at all honestly. Maybe it’s good to have some diversity in one’s pubs but I’m not sure why exactly that might be… it just feels funny to pub in the same journal over and over. And im honestly not sure why. I need to reflect on why I feel weird about it.
@tlaskal@mstdn.science great, thanks so much!
@bmp@mastodon.sdf.org @ellapeltonen@mastodon.acm.org thanks for amplifying Bharath!
