Finally I was able to upgrade my #FedoraSilverblue test VM to #Fedora44 .
I had to wait for the cisco repository to be updated with the openh264 codec for 44.
And then, with only 3 deployments, my /boot partition was to full to be able to finish the deployment of fedora 44, so I had to manually remove a deployment.

During this 3 days week-end, I was waiting for the first episode of the new season of #ForAllMankind.
But then I saw that a new season of #Invasion was also available, so I binge watched it.
I can’t really put in words what I feel, but despite an itch not to like this TV show, I was always hooked to it and I must admit that I really enjoy it.
* The pacing is really slow, yet I always want to watch the next episode to see what will happen.
* Some characters are irritating a lot of the time, yet I get invested in their stories.
* The theme song, is SO GOOD 🥰

Still playing with the Framework 12, now the system is a triple boot, as I installed FydeOS in addition of #popos and #haikuos .
There, tablet mode is working quite well:
- with a virtual keyboard respecting the selected layout in the OS,
- the physical keyboard and touchpad being disabled in tablet mode.
Unfortunately, there is no screen rotation despite the option being active in the settings.
As much as I don’t like chrome, I must admit the system is really nice to use.

Looks like this week-end I’ll have some #computing maintenance and changes to make.
I will swap the motherboards of my #fedora #silverblue computer and #proxmox server.
I hope I will not have to reinstall either of the systems 🫰🏽

Gotta love #Linux (compared to Windows in this case), as everything worked without too much hassle, despite the system using a totally different motherboard (brand: Asus->MSI, size: ATX->mATX, chipset: B550->B450)

After reading the case manual, turns out, my PSU can be (barely) installed in the new case.
So, the #proxmox server is back online 😊

Installed the JetKVM ATX expansion board in the proxmox server, and checked everything is working fine.
Am I dreaming, or did #Gnome50 removed the "Log out" option from the power menu ?

@bekopharm@indieweb.social They increased the default size for the partition for new installations starting with Fedora 43 iirc.
But this test VM was installed initially with Fedora 41, so has the default 1GB partition that was created at the time

@bekopharm@indieweb.social Using #gparted live-cd I have successfully resized the boot partition on other machines by shrinking and moving the other ones. But I’ll keep this test VM with this /boot size, just for the fun of it 😜

@LorenAmelang@social.vivaldi.net yes, gnome has an integrated RDP server. So does KDE. And that's what I miss with a cosmic system. An integrated way to do remote desktop.
