Fediverse do your thing: I’m looking for a #linux distro to boot off a usb key, either full install or “live system”. Persistence is a requirement for the latter.
Last time I did this, it was regular Debian stable installed and booted off the usb key but read/write cycles killed the device after some use.
I’m ok-ish doing Debian-on-usb again but also open to alternatives.

@r1w1s1 I wholeheartedly agree with this take but also fun fact/plot twist: I stopped using CWM because it doesn’t do LRU when alt-tabbing windows so I was in this “think the least” flow abruptly interrupted by suddenly trying to figure out why alt-tab wasn’t on the previous window but something else
I really should give it another try to see if the windows switcher behaviour is now configurable. Or send a patch!
