mastodon 4.8.0-nightly.2026-10-06Nerd. Mostly runs around and tries to shoot people in the head (in VR of course, jeez) and have an unhealthy number of hours in Dark Souls.
I watch a lot of movies and TV-series- SciFi being the favourite- whether it's live-action or animated and listen to rock and roll and metal.
I work in IT as a storage/virtualization administrator and there's a green chameleon living in my heart.
Where do we go from here? The net is vast and infinite.

From the linked article:
"a common EU age limit for social media with protections adapted to age and risk"
And how do you plan on enforcing this?
Because for both Android and iOS, this already exists! Instead educate *parents* on how they keep their children safe instead of hurting everyone by giving up their privacy by exposing their ID to use the internet.

Unless you're the drummer of Meshuggah- then it's all brain *and* pain! 😅

Best wishes to you all! Thank you for everything you've done so far and will do in the future! ❤
Seeing a lot of posts about people holding on to Windows 10 and that was also the case for me, because of VR. But since that's now a solved problem in Linux I am so happy to have finally gotten rid of that crap for ever!

Great article dude, you totally read my mind! I was reading and just started wondering if there had been any studies in regards to this skew and then you posted them right below! 😄👍
Never liked the "Gamer" culture much anyway. You do you and fuck the labels! ✊

We'll probably self-host an OpenProject instance to replace JIRA

And speaking of Debian, I just spent the day upgrading my Foreman server from bullseye to bookworm today, going from v. 3.12 to 3.18 of Foreman. The process was a bit involved because of PostgreSQL changing from v. 13 to v. 15 but other than that the upgrade was smooth sailing!
A huge thanks to @debian@framapiaf.org and @foreman@mastodon.social communities for making awesome stuff for free! ❤️

Oh and we're just using JIRA, so no issues getting stuff from Confluence over 👍
