I need more pocket friends to support my mental health.
If you see me as friend-shaped you might want to reach out and we'll exchange signal or something?

@emily_rugburn@lgbtqia.space I get exhaustion headaches from running because there's /something/ that I haven't figured out yet that I'm doing wrong in my post-run recovery and when it's at its worst, it means the day after running I am laid up in bed suffering both excruciating headache and nausea for the whole day. It hasn't been that bad in a while, but I know that "real migraines" can be much, much worse than what I get.
It is tragic that so many people, most of all in the medical establishment, do not understand this and do not seem to want to.

post parkrun cafe pic.
22:39 5K time today. Not the best but not bad!
Missed Parkrun this morning so I went to the local oval and gave it some beans.
Got a new 5K PB for my trouble - 21:46. My last PB was 21:53 way back in November.
That was on a much hillier course, so this probably is not actually as much of a performance, but still. Pretty damn happy.

@captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space I wonder how this works for sexual health clinics - do they just work outside the medicare system?
But the proper solution for this is of course that children need medical privacy.
The age of presumed medical competency in Australia is 14 I'm pretty sure so kids should get their own medicare card when they're 14 then.
22:33 parkrun. that's numberwang! 5k time according to garmin was 22:18. Pretty damn happy with that.

@captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space I have a picture of me and a friend when we were both 3 years old and it's absolutely obvious (she's trans, I'm nonbinary).
@captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space So I've been doing my own computer touching today.
I got these used SSD drives several months ago (ugh why is time) and had to fit them in my file server.
Finally got around to modelling up a little mount for them.
Then I had to do some amount of violence to get the controller card and cables to go where I need them.
But now it's all in, and nothing has caught fire!

@alexadeswift@lgbtqia.space You can't be Foreign Secretary and Home Secretary if you have a soul. But it can't be worse than Wes Streeting.

@robchapman@ohai.social bother. I am lucky that I have a council gym which is small but has both weight and cardio equipment.

@robchapman@ohai.social would a nice air-conditioned gym with a nice elliptical machine be an option?

@steadilyebbing@girlcock.club @captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space I suck very badly at RTS games, but I love both playing and watching.

My file server is all buttoned up and has fans in front of the NVME SSDs now.
When they're running they drop the SSD temperature from 35 to 25 degrees C, which is great. They're also pretty silent.
(The fans aren't actually running in this picture, because I don't have a permanent power hookup for them yet. You'd think 12V is easy to come by inside a server chassis, but you'd be wrong...)

@augieray@mastodon.social I updated my post about 10 minutes after I made it. sorry that I'm not picture perfect. but now you're demanding even more effort from me to engage with your bullshit. classic "flooding the zone with shit" behaviour. and no comment on the actual substance of my post? you're not acting like a real person who cares about real issues. you're just making engagement bait, and in this case, just reposting somebody else's engagement bait. you're really going to be angry at me for pointing it out instead of being ashamed for what you're doing?

@steadilyebbing@girlcock.club hmm I'd like to practice rope stuff and I'd be happy to be a practice dummy too? I would have to ask the wife to see if that would trigger her jealousy x.x

Is it possible to be the horniest fucker on earth and also be demi-sexual? Asking for a friend (it's me, I'm the friend)
@captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space Hope you're doing well. I thought you might like to know that I'm spending my saturday night watching a stream of competitive Beyond All Reason gameplay. Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander used to be my favorite games and I love how Spring RTS and now Beyond All Reason are keeping Total Annihilation alive.

@captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space don't you have a steam deck? I'd be surprised if it couldn't run it!

@steadilyebbing@girlcock.club consent is a subtle and nuanced topic but unfortunately you can't be subtle and nuanced about it or the bad people will exploit it, so anyone who doesn't fit into the non-nuanced mold is just a regrettable but necessary sacrifice.
Because the battle over consent is fought and won between two leftists on the internet and has nothing to do with societal power structures.
It's a very nice bicycle!
hi @mcp@lgbtqia.space media server is busted again.
