@docjosiahboone Und bei uns gibt es immer wieder Eltern, die ihre Kinder nicht impfen lassen und sie dann mit falschen Impfausweisen in KITA und Schule schicken. Von der Schwelle sind wir nicht merh weit weg.

@cstross@wandering.shop @dryak@mstdn.science @whybird@aus.social I was a teacher for 35 years. In the beginning I had to teach 10 year olds how to use a mouse. The middle was fine, just keep them away from wrecking Windows.
At the end I had to teach 10 year olds how to use a mouse and keep bottles of cleaner around to wash the sticky fingerprints off the screens.
Folder was a concept always to be taught. There is the Desktop for storage and cluttering.

Record air pressure in Phyphox, make a graph out of it, present to the class and let the rest reconstruct their route. Lots of fun, break in the lesson, physical exercise and aome insight into ways of tracking on your phone.

@pjakobs@mastodon.green Es kommt halt drauf an, was man haben will. Ich bin Gnome sehr zufrieden, kann aber den Reiz von KDE oder sogar eines tiling WM nachvollziehen. Ich hab Jahrzehnte mehr oder weniger gerne am System geschraubt und nehme jetzt Bluefin. Da darf ich nix, zum Spielen gibt es virtuelle Maschinen. Muss aber niemand so machen wie ich.
