After reading the stop omarchy neocities site today I came across this: https://tilde.team/~ben/suckmore/ and I sighed and decided to switch my WM to herbstluftwm and terminal to urxvt-unicode. This is a problem within the #linux FOSS community. it seems like every week I come across another project that is developed by fascists. I liked suckless, I liked dwm and ST. but man it's just tiring. if the lead dev of like tmux ends up being someone that likes eating babies I don't know what I'm going to do. Or at this point I'm just going to have to build my own stuff and start working on my WM I abandoned a year ago again.

@TerminalTilt@social.terminaltilt.com once you "get it" then you'll be hard pressed to use another distro. it can be frustrating at times but eventually it just clicks. I used to switch if I couldn't get something working on NixOS but that's because I gave up too easily. now I can get just about anything running on it.

everytime I update my #nixos flake I cringe a bit. "what's it going to break this time?" This time it was a password management script for Qutebrowser something with keyctl. The good thing is I don't want to deal with it again and it gives me an excuse to finally ditch Rofi. Thankfully it's easy to pull my passwords from the terminal.
