Here's your reminder that there's a Gren extension for Zed.
Finally got around to document how task ports work in Gren: https://gren-lang.org/book/applications/ports/#task-ports
Also added the fact that, starting monday, you'll be able to use Bytes in flags and ports.

Lovecraft Investigations is one of my favorite podcasts, and I can’t see what they’ll with Call of Cthulhu.
If you haven’t heard of it before, Lovecraft Investigations is a «true crime» like show told in a universe where Lovecraft’s stories happen in modern time.
It is really, really good.

@lix_project honest question from someone new to nix: isn’t nixpkgs a big part of the value proposition, so aren’t you indirectly tied to the politics of the NixOS community?
I thought it’d be interesting to talk about some of the design choices behind Gren.

it's just one nixpkgs repo, right? So by lix channels you mean forum/chat? And the commiters are "just" nixpkgs commiters?
Not trying to be difficult. I have one package in nixpkgs but I am completely oblivious to how the project is organized.

it's not all or nothing but i certainly would like to have a replacement nix project that's not a dumpster fire that pushes out all the women and other minorities and burns out everyone constantly

Usikker på hva de norske grensene er, men for engelske verker:
< 7.500 ord : short story < 17.500 ord : novelette < 40.000 ord : novella
40.000 ord : roman
Jeg tror ikke vi skiller på "novelette" og "novella" i Norge, så en kunne jo tenkt at novellen er mindre enn 40k ord.
Men så er jo de fleste romaner langt større enn 40k ord (som oftest 70+), så kan godt hende at folk flest regner 50k som en novelle.
