I attempted a #SOTA activation in foul weather. When I summited, the snow turned to heavy rain and I got soaked immediately, so I turned around without ever actually calling CQ. I'll come back for the points when it's warmer.

So, most sota folks understand AS, and will stand by for second operator, but I can understand a random person spinning through a band might not know what that means. I didn't know what it meant up until last year!
Today, I had a chaser complete our qso, TU 73 . . . . AS AS AS, then passed the key to the second chaser. I think it helps to send a few times, otherwise it could sound like a broken call sign.
I went to #tucson to climb around on mountains and look at super fancy rocks.
This rock fits in the back of the truck no problem.
I found this technology in a dusty room at work. I'd just like to point out that I had nothing to do with this storage medium.
It took months, but I finally fixed my fediverse-blog integration problem. If you tried to follow it, but got a "request pending", it was because my server was dropping the actor request. Give it another follow if your original request is still stuck.

@kelvin0mql yea, we had Zip and Jazz drives, but the Rev drive was a bit too late as hard disk storage got cheap.

@becomingwisest@hachyderm.io Didn't make it on this trip, but I went last time I was in Tucson a few years ago. There is a special, paved parking area right next to the antenna with a metal box and some coax. You just pull up, unwind the coax, connect it to your radio. Very cool the public is allowed to use it.

@kilroy_was_here The concrete is just supposed to keep the river from moving around and making oxbows. My street turned into a river for a bit too! It seems the storm drains couldn't keep up with the absolute dump of rain we got in 30 minutes.
It rained so hard in Los Angeles today that manhole covers were popping off.

Texas Instruments has enshitfied some parts I like. NE5532 has a lower slew rate, lower rail voltage, and might not like to push 600 ohms. OPA134, a fancy pants part, removed external DC offset trim pins. Part numbers for both devices have not changed.
