Celebrating my 11 years by watching Sgt. Haane, eating sushi, and drinking a Yuzu dry lager that I'm already starting to regret I even bought. Lol
(I had to check my very first passport for the exact date. Glad I chose today to celebrate because I arrived on the 23rd of July 2015).
Found a tabby cat at workplace's garden yesterday. It's loafing amongst the grass(?).

Got compliments, fist bump, and photos with people today. A lot of them giddy and happy to see the X-men Evolution version of Rogue, which also made me happy and giddy.
Kinda wish I also went for the one where she wore their x-men evolution uniform. But eh. My brain was already set with the goth look and I had setbacks because of surgery and almost gave up the idea and just leave it for October. But here we are.
Who knows? Maybe next time I will do her again. But for now, it's time to rest.

And so, this morning, I spent a quiet time at breakfast with a candle lit; remembering her:
Her smile,
Her voice,
The way she dresses,

So I found out the candidate for labour party in my area will be of same ethnicity.
I'm still giving my 2 ticks for green..sorry 😭
I will encourage flatmates to vote for labour. Although my male flatmate already said he will vote for labour. I'm still waiting for his wife to enrol ahahaha

Just remembered a funny memory from 2024. I was returning to Auckland from Hastings. Had a short stop at Tīrau and my phone battery was about to run out.
Carried on with my driving. I, ofc, whispered a quick prayer. Just let me get to the motorway and I'll be fine.
God's hilarious cos I was on-ramp about to enter the motorway and that's when my phone died. 😂

Dunkin' released Ube-flavoured stuff here in NZ: Ube drink, ube munchkin, and ube kreme and frosted ube donuts. I was excited for the Ube Kreme because it's one of the good stuff in Dunkin' PH.
I'll be honest, I like it, but my brain hates the change.
Ube Kreme donut in the Dunkin PH uses the basic donut they use for raspberry-filled, bavarian, blackberry-filled... you know, the white dough. Here in NZ, their version is an ube donut with ube kreme in it. And I'm just sad.
