I've been using #emacs for years and only today did I try using a keyboard macro. Didn't get it working first try but finally found the right part of the documentation to get it going. Hopefully the start of some more efficiency

Expect some sharing of good dogs here too
Was a support rider for my partner on a long run this evening. Squirrels, rabbits, geese, grouse, pheasants, good dogs, a fox, horses in fields, horses out walking, a horse hiding (badly) in a hedge. All found fun!
Achieved very little today. Unless you count ruling out ways to do something, in which case I've achieved quite a number of things!

Cycle ride this morning. So lucky to be right on the edge of the countryside. Deer, horses going through a ford, beautiful colours. Nice coffee midway through. Class #Berkshire #Hampshire
What kind of ridiculousness is this:
"- Please avoid the command \begin{tikzpicture} ... \end{tikzpicture} in the tex manuscript due to technical reasons.
3.) Because of our automatic conversion from tex to full-text XML and full-text HTML, the standard LaTeX command \newcommand{} cannot be used for technical reasons
4.) Please note that the command \eqref{} is not allowed in the tex manuscript either "
What exactly is the article processing charge for if they aren't able to process the article themselves??!
Had my article returned to me because the copy editor didn't want to change the LaTeX to fit their odd build and conversion to web rules. You'd think the article processing charge would cover them to do a find and replace on my \newcommand macros...
It has been remarked upon that most of my time is spent fixing bugs in code that I introduced.
Guess what I did today folks?!
Sitting in the sun eating a lovely lunch from my local lunchtime food truck because...
I'm getting older and a lot squidgier so when I did some not so hard exercise I hurt my back...
So I decided to drive to work instead of cycle...
But my car battery was flat because I've not used it in a while so I had to stay home...
But I hadn't planned to be home so nothing in the fridge for lunch...
So now I'm happy!
I wonder how our QC dealt with this?
That Italian nonsense song that is now playing all the time on an advert is a banger. A cover with decent lyrics would go far
National Poetry Day today and #BBC6Music introduced me to #JoshuaIdehen's Mum Does The Washing. Absolutely top class stuff
Shout out to the lovely people in Boots Wokingham who kept my partners wallet safe when she left it there. There are plenty of good eggs around when you need them!
