Dear Argentina, THAT is how you score a goal without using your hand #worldcup
With the very sad news that Bonnie Tyler has passed away today I shall be listening to this amazing compilation of the great Meat Loaf and Bonnie Tyler.
Heaven & Hell by Meat Loaf & Bonnie Tyler on Apple Music https://music.apple.com/gb/album/heaven-hell/251988256
Interested to see what Apple is going to do with the HomePod this year.
The Sonos Era 100 SL I got to replace another faulty HomePod mini in my office has been a breath of fresh air - crystal clear sound, I AirPlay all my music and podcasts to it and use the 3.5mm line-in to get desktop sound from my gaming PC.
I'd be tempted to get more Sonos speakers but need to see if Apple give us a better HomePod with Siri AI as that makes it more useful - we rely on HomePods + HomeKit to control Hue lights throughout the house.
@imyke@myke.social thank you for persuading me to try Sonos.
I also love this Beige colour Bose Lifestyle Ultra: https://www.bose.co.uk/p/speakers/bose-lifestyle-ultra-speaker/LSULT-SPEAKERWIRELESS.html?dwvar_LSULT-SPEAKERWIRELESS_color=BLACK&quantity=1

iPhone battery life is noticeably more "normal" with #iOS27 beta 3
To quote Tim Cook:
"John Ternus has the mind of an engineer, the soul of an innovator, and the heart to lead with integrity and with honor."
Let's see if John Ternus can lead with integrity and honor a hell of a lot better than Tim Apple has been doing recently with his best buddy in the White House...
At which point does the orange fuckwit realise that space missions would've been a much better way to distract everyone from the Epstein files than going to "war"...

@gruber I don't want the limelight or anything but I did reply to your @daringfireball post within 5 minutes of it going out to tell you this 😎
Bonnie Tyler has died 😢

@caseyliss @marcoarment Yup have to restart watch quite often to clear the previous workout that gets stuck beneath. Not to mention selecting a workout with the Digital Crown which is like wheel of fortune, or waiting for a spinner to stop before you can actually press the start button

@stephenrobles@mastodon.social Not had chance to watch your video yet but just in case, Castro has chapter selection (was first to do it)
Definitely cover CarPlay, it's pretty vital that a podcast app has similar functionality in the car where some of us listen the most.
Castro has added many controls including viewing the chapter list to select one to jump to.
Well I've bit the bullet and installed CachyOS on my gaming PC dual boot with Windows 11.
Prettt quick and painless, installed Steam in seconds, it already has the latest Nvidia drivers installed so I'm now installing ARC Raiders to play in 4K and see what the graphics and performance is like 👍🏻

@purplelime@social.lol yup straight from NoFusion with the K1 Kodak Portra 400 filter, thank you.

@Ronnie@mastodon.social 1am or even 2am for me here in the UK, hardly had a single early playoff game I can see before or on midnight 😠

@simonharper @halide Thanks, there are Apple Log 2 LUT's in my pack but just the size issue with Kino. Is there a reason for this size restriction given Blackmagic imports them? Just curious.

@Ronnie@mastodon.social @ravi@social.lol I'm in the same boat, never got around to watching it.

@zenbrowser@floss.social I see you have a Glance feature but was wondering if you plan on having something similar to Arc's "mini" feature where by default you could have any links you open from other apps quickly pop up in Arc Mini and you would hit CMD-O to add that window to the main tabs or if you just close the window it's gone.
It was a very quick way to open any links you open from any other apps as it loaded without the rest of the browser UI etc. thanks

@viticci let's see if he does a better job at the "integrity and honor" than his predecessor has done recently.

@simonharper@mastodon.social @Iconfactory@iconfactory.world @bigzaphod@mastodon.social @Sonofasailor@mastodon.social I’ve been having the same problem, just in bed on the iPad, I was at the top of my timeline on my iPhone but on my iPad it says I’m 67 behind.
iOS 26.4.1 on both devices and latest Testflight builds on both.
I’ve just restarted both devices and they now follow each other and sync 🤷♂️
Here is the other one for comparison...
I need to boot back into Windows and screenshot all my ARC Raiders settings so I can run it on CachyOS exactly the same.
By default it loaded on all EPIC settings and I tried the practice range out.
Bloody impressed that within a couple of hours I've dual booted to CachyOS, installed Steam and a game and it's all just working so far without all the Windows bloatware in the background.

@sinky @jonathanreed I'm sure it wasn't long ago when Virgin or Sky were still charging extra if you want HD, never mind 4K!
Some shocking referee decisions in this #worldcup. To give Rice a yellow card in the first minute of the game when the Mexican player had his head down at foot level 😡
Mexico's goal came from a free kick that never was, it was yet another dive and the ref fell for it.

@jon@henshaw.social I've got it installed on my CachyOS desktop - can you recommend any good extension to give me mouse gestures? I've previously used Crx Mouse on Chrome - I think they all need full read access to any pages you are on though.

@robb I always try to get through 2-3 episodes of any show to learn the characters, can miss out on a lot of great shows by stopping at the pilot yea

@halide I doubt they do as I'm selecting the only files in the package - I have those imported into Blackmagic.
I'm slightly confused what the difference is between what I've got and the film LUT's 🤔

@FreakyFwoof it'll be one of those rollouts where everyone just gets it suddenly appear at different times rather than a full rollout to everyone per country. Crazy.
One of these is ARC Raiders running on Windows 11, the other is running on CachyOS with the exact same 4K graphic settings inside the game.

@devondundee@mastodon.social Good read thank you. Curious, if you've cancelled GoodLinks what have you switched to?

@troed@masto.sangberg.se Nope, the stewards owe him this pole for all those false pit lane speeding penalties a few weeks ago.

@halide I've got the Stalman Apple Log Conversion LUT's but when I try to import into Kino I get the attached error.
I was of the understanding you could import Stalman's LUT's into Kino or am I incorrect with this assumption?
Thanks.
