This has been on my mind for a very long time!
It goes quite a bit beyond adding a shadow to boost contrast or giving logos a fixed area to fill. The algorithm that picks the most legible logo and formula to size them took nearly two months to get right.
I started simple but the variety of logos meant a (much) more complex approach was necessary. If I’ve done my job right, it’ll just feel right!
Hopefully you’ll appreciate the result. 😊
I’ve had a lot of fun making @sequel@indieapps.space’s new importer. You can even tap and drag covers around to kill the time. 👀
It was inspired by the Photos.app memories creation interface (albeit with less special FX and my own little touches) entirely in SwiftUI. Hope you like it!
Boy am I glad I ordered an M5 Pro MacBook Pro with 64GB of RAM two days ago. Today’s price increase is spicy 🌶️ 🥵
I have no words. @sequel@indieapps.space won the MacStories Selects award for Best Design! 🙏🎉
Before going indie, I was a product designer so this one really means a lot to me. I pour my heart into every update, but 2.6 in particular was a labour of love. Thank you to the @macstories@mastodon.macstories.net team and thank you all so much for the support! ❤️
It’s hard to believe @sequel@indieapps.space was released three years ago today. I started working on it over four years ago now and I never thought this would become my full time job. Thank you all for making this possible 🙏
It’s not every day your work gets two full pages in a magazine! Huge thanks to MacFormat for featuring @sequel@indieapps.space 🙏
@sequel@indieapps.space is sponsoring this week’s episode of MacStories Unwind! 🎉
As a long-time follower of @viticci@mastodon.macstories.net and @johnvoorhees@mastodon.macstories.net, getting to support their work with my own indie app means a lot.
If you’re into movies, TV, or games, their Best of 2025 episodes are the perfect time to jump in. 😊
A foldable iPhone really doesn’t appeal to me. The marginal benefits vs tradeoffs are just not worth the price of those devices (for me). What I want though is an iPad mini that unfolds to be twice the size. This would be a dream portable media consumption device but there’s no rumours about it…
@oj@masto.es it’s something I’d like to do yes. But then again, I also have 500 other things on that list 😅
It’s happened, the AirPods Pro 3 are the first ones that feel uncomfortable to my ears. 🥲
