Once the armory rolls out I think engagement will go up again for a few weeks but prices will crash initially as people will dump items to buy armory passes to farm stars for new skins. I got $20 in my wallet right now I'm holding until to buy up boxes cheap when the armory rotation happens. Will be a good sale on revolution boxes. I got 100 recoil boxes but revolution boxes are cheap right now. I have a feeling that's the next big investment and will probably be pulled next. Dreams and Nightmare cases are the oldest in active rotation and the most expensive box but It makes valve too much money with people unboxing to open knives where the revolution case has last generation gloves and the dead hand terminal has gen 3 gloves so I think valve will retire revolution first to force engagement with deadhand to get gloves.

@coolboymew@shitposter.world the CS market is a bit shaky right now too. Our cases are holding for the most part but a lot of people think there's gonna be a crash soon or panicking because Valve updated their UI and think they're trying to end 3rd party sites and other things because of the lawsuit. Also a lot of people are fed up and leaving the game due to the rampant influx of bots and cheaters and valves inaction to do anyting about it and only seems to apply updates for cosmetics only and it's kinda pissing a lot of people off myself included. Hard to play a game and use the skins when you got 30% of the playerbase installing rootkit cheats on their pc to troll and ruin lobbies.

There was a chinese dump the other day with people doing fake listings and sales to get people to panic sell their stuff at lower values but that's cooled off. I was wondering why someone kept price is righting my stuff by removing their listing and reselling for for 25 cents less minutes after I made a listing. I ended up not selling and holding since I wasn't gonna take an undercut.

I take it back I find Valve fanboys more annoying than Bethesda fanboys at this point. I'm kinda annoyed at the mindless dick riding of Gabe Newell when Counter Strike 2 doesn't even have a functioning anti-cheat and they've neglected the game for the last 2 years for everything but stupid cosmetics and updates to make cosmetics look better. Then I see retards going apeshit over an overpriced gamepad because it has TMR. I could put TMR sticks in my existing gamepad for a 5th of the price. I do like the idea of SteamOS and gaming on Linux but gaming wise Valve hasn't really done anything mind blowing since The Orange Box in 2007 and that was 19 years ago. Portal 2 was alright but I never cared for Dota and I could care less about Deadlock as that will probably suffer the same fate as TF2 and CS2 and just be botted to hell and back with a dogshit anti-cheat.

So this is why they're going after counter strike skins. it's already a stable and more desirable exchange than Trumpstein Goytokens.

It's not so much the Console became $200 more valuable it's more that the USD has devalued that much in the last 5 years. The Covid bailouts and money to Israel for new weapons has really taken a toll on us.

I got 2 knives I'm looking at now. The Fade is $600 right now the first one the 2nd one is the night stripe near $200 The Fade pattern looks nice in the lighting but I feel it ruins the pattern on the blade that makes the classic 1.6 knife look iconic. The FT night stripe looks cleaner than a vanilla blade and is much cheaper the only differenceis the handle but most people aren't looking at the handle when paying the game. Not sure if I should buy the $200 knife or go all in on the $600 one or put a buy order in and see if I can score one cheaper.

I'm hoping either A. china does a pump and dump on these or B. they will go up as the wepaon case 1 becomes insanely rare. Some peopel speculate in a couple years WC1 will be about $500-1000 due to the supply rarity and iconic items in it.

My Facebook feed keeps being flooded with Québec politics ( somehow facebooks algorithm thinks the content is viable for me) I keep seeing Mr. Bean edits of their new Permier Christine Fréchette and everytime someone mentions PSPP ( Paul St. Pierre Plamondon) I keep thinking of the Sony PSP being mispelled. I feel out of the loop I'm not really up to date on Québec politics at this point and I don't really think I should be invested to care because all politicians suck and at the end of the day sell the people out.
