In Internet culture, shitposting, trashposting, or funposting is the act of using an online forum or social media page to post content that is satirical and of "aggressively, ironically, and trollishly poor quality",

"For of all sad words of tongue or pen, The saddest are these: "A fucking leaf"

@Bulletsandbourbon@nicecrew.digital @Soy_Magnus@clew.lol I'd reccomend it. Ideally you get enough on there to where the second coat stops soaking in. Basically apply it until the stain is pooling and then spread it out. But if you can get oil to soak all the way in it'll last the longest. oilbased is the best in my opinon This stuff. I like it because its old school actual oil based stuff. Like it'll kill your plants lol. Not the FDA safe bullshit that still dissolves when it rains. Its called varathane oil not cabernet. Idk what i was thinking of. Maybe the color i used or something.

@Soy_Magnus@clew.lol Yah, i've done lots of those. My go to now is 3 coats of pro-block latex primer (if they won't let me use oil) and i plastic off everything, put on a mask and spray the fuck out of it. If they let me use oil i can cover it in one, but you need ventelation (or just get dizzy like a man) lol.

One of my favorite parts of getting home is opening the door and Bonny saying: MEOW MEOW MEOW and immediately starts rubbing up on me. Pro tip ladies -> when your man gets home. Rub your face on him immediately.

@BiancaFights@nicecrew.digital @Soy_Magnus@clew.lol @VaxxSabbath@detroitriotcity.com It is. There are two different classifications I I make are "art trade" and "mechanicaltrade". Art trades are thing that requrie skill/nuance like painting, mudding, texturing, ect. Mechanical trade would be something that doesn't require like "feeling". Like Carpentry (basic). You know? If you're building a deck its just measure, cut, fasten. So like roofing, carpetnry, sheet rock installation, etc. Basically anything where you can read the directions and then do it i consider a mechanical trade. And then stuff that requires like specific "touch" is stuff that like requires reps and practice.

@Bulletsandbourbon@nicecrew.digital @Soy_Magnus@clew.lol Then you don't need revive. If you wanted to deck wash it you can, but not needed. Pressure washing MAYBE but if its not grey you may just open wood fibers for no reason. You can just hose it off or broom it to get dust/dirt off and stain it.

Gotta go fix that damn ceilng today. The most annoying part is I only have 24" by 24" sheetrock squares. My vehicle doesn't fit a 4' by 8' sheet. Which is by design. I specifically try not to take large sheet rock jobs... How much you wanna bet it didn’t leak over the weekend? The resident was throwing a fit Friday about it. It smelled like an attic and he claimed it made the room uninhabitable. But he was claiming before I cut the wet shit out that the “mold” was making it uninhabitable…

@Soy_Magnus@clew.lol BUT, the benefit of PVA is actually that the finish coat (after 4 coats) is really nice looking, and it blends in like crazy, you can touch it up for years and it'll just blend in. The trade off is you need to do 3-4 coats. So like even the "cheap" products can have a use.

I did exteriors for about 7 years and just don't anymore because you need big ladders and meh, I just don't want to do it anymore. 32' ladders aren't as fun as they were when i was 20

@Soy_Magnus@clew.lol yah, the stain blocking oil primer is around $56/gallon (at my price so 40% off retail), you can get cheaper latex for about $32 per gallonn but it takes multiple coats. That townhouse i did took three rounds of primer with latex primer. They could have just bought oil, but they'd rather pay for 3x the materials and 3x the labor. smh

@Soy_Magnus@clew.lol they make a drywall primer called PVA primer for $8/gallon but it takes about 3-4 coats to get solid coverage because there is such low pigment in it. There's a lot of chemistry that goes into painting but no one gives a shit so JUST SLAP IT ON becomes the default. But usually you can save a lot of time/material with the right product.
