The BlueSCSI Front Panel Module is available in the store, in three different colours to match your mood (and computer chassis)! Do you live in Europe? Do you have a BlueSCSI (the magical SCSI hard drive replacement device) and do you wish you could see at a glance which disk image is loaded? Or that you could change the image remotely over WiFi? Or update its firmware? Or do you enjoy pressing actual buttons to do things? Check it out here: https://shop.onegeekarmy.eu/index.php/product/bluescsi-front-panel-module/

@scotlit@mastodon.scot An independent book store in Brussels held a book signing event one drab weekday almost 20 years ago. I made up a meeting with invented people to justify my absence, and snuck out of work to go shake his hand and have him sign my copy of Matter. I was wearing a suit. I looked like a cog in a system. He wore a sweater. He looked like a man who'd seen a future no one else had the courage to imagine.

@TechByAndroda And if you're in Europe, you can find them in my little store: https://shop.onegeekarmy.eu/index.php/product/comm-slot-ii-10-100-ethernet-card/ https://shop.onegeekarmy.eu/index.php/product/emate-dram-and-flash-upgrade/

@jonschwenn@hachyderm.io @mejs@mastodon.vladovince.com @BlueSCSI@hachyderm.io The macOS version absolutely can. MFS, HFS, HFS+, PRODOS, DOS 3.3, Pascal, Atari ST and Amiga images. https://diskjockey.onegeekarmy.eu

@jonschwenn@hachyderm.io @mejs@mastodon.vladovince.com @BlueSCSI@hachyderm.io Yeah it's gained a few tricks up its sleeve in the past couple of years. And this year should be interesting too 😉

@Pol@mathstodon.xyz @mania@hachyderm.io @jamesbelchamber@hachyderm.io Because naps can be more than just sleep? For instance, some neurodivergent people really benefit from some down time (even a few minutes) to recharge and be ready for the rest of the day. Places like #fosdem are loud and busy and hyper stimulating and I'm willing to bet that the number of neurodivergent attendees is probably very high. And for some of them, an event like this is a real challenge. I think a nap room is a great idea.

@mwichary@mastodon.online I made this for Raiders of the Lost Icon, an icon-hunting adventure in disk images. https://rotli.onegeekarmy.eu

@bakkus @DosFox Oh wow these are great. I might finally be able to find the fault in my IIfx (who's been very sad for 20 years). Thanks for the link!

@bakkus Oh my that's such a brilliant idea! Well done!

@arroz Brilliant work! This could be very useful.

@paulrickards@mastodon.social It sound so eager! Lovely stuff :)

@imil@mastodon.bsd.cafe I'm so there

@nygl Reading this while waiting in the car on a parking lot. "Miss Freelove '69" is now blasting in the Volvo, to the dismay of passer-bys. 🤘

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social "Bitmap for Joy" is my new rallying cry.
