I've used this a lot during many campaigns over the years. It's been great!

If you want to read #ubuntu 's writeup on #copyfail , someone was blessed enough to archive the page before Ubuntu's site was taken down: https://web.archive.org/web/20260430191621/https://ubuntu.com/blog/copy-fail-vulnerability-fixes-available
Thanks #waybackmachine #internetarchive for being an amazing public resource
I finally have what I needed to switch away from using #Google #Keyboard on #android. And its actually better!
https://f-droid.org/packages/org.woheller69.whisperplus
https://f-droid.org/packages/helium314.keyboard
Heliumboard is extremely customizable, a great keyboard, but I still found myself switching back to Google Keyboard due to speech-to-text-typing
Then today I found whisper+, which somehow manages to run whisper locally on my phone, and the performance is actually amazing
Edit: fix spelling of app name, oops

@carlrichell@fosstodon.org #brazil Is facing a similar issue with our federal law. It goes into effect essentially this month, and we have no idea on how to even start to get to talk to someone at the federal level in order to make something like an exemption.
I'm honestly worried about the perspectives for our local #FOSS communities, currently still trying to get in touch with everyone to at least check on what are the practical implications over here, and what are the real risks

Shoutout to tasks.org by Alex Baker. Amazing #android app, available on #fdroid . That app is currently the main digital tool that enables me to keep my life running without descending into chaos (thanks #adhd /s)
This week's update brings custom reminder as a "task default". That means every task created will have that reminder without requiring a manual clicking at every time.
Before you could have reminders by default at due date and at start date, but not custom ones. Simply amazing

@keepassxc @dreua @eroc1990 how costly is it to have a registered trademark? I imagine there are other benefits that might make it worth it depending on the cost.
Might be the only somewhat reliable way of leveraging official mechanisms to take down copycats and scam attempts

@degville That is the most beautiful tablet (screen?) I have ever seen. Would love to get one of those, It'd look beautiful on the wall like a sci-fi information panel of some sorts
Loving the new #Firefox split tab view. Didn't think it would be useful in my workflow until trying it yesterday, and it's just...like, really useful.
Preserving the context of the "pair" of tabs by grouping them in the panel is a nice touch, I no longer have to remember after I open the computer for the day "which 2 tabs had I opened side by side yesterday again?", instead the pair is just there. Gonna try the tab notes feature next
But yeah. Firefox is rocking again for me. Cheers!
