@kevinashworth@mastodon.social @neatnik@social.lol I don’t think a poorly thought-out blog post is not the same as handing $300,000 to an extreme racist

@brennan@social.lol @neatnik@social.lol What good alternatives are out there for Square and Stripe? (Also you may want to note that Block = Square, I didn’t remember this rebrand)

@BenCotterill@mastodon.social @Tutanota@mastodon.social Basically, the person at a company that decides what devices/software/services the company will use (email service, cloud storage or compute, etc.)

@vivianrose@mastodon.social Works in Firefox!

@michaelgemar@cosocial.ca @sundogplanets@mastodon.social A Montreal Protocol style international treaty could work, but not with the current US admin

@cabel@social.panic.com I know it’s a bit sparse, but I still think it’s really great that Wes Cook has a Wikipedia article because of the work you did to share this story

@nileane @tinystartapp No worries, glad you figured it out! It wiped like three items total so not a big deal. And yeah, to answer your prior question, it cleared everything and was just showing the text on how to use the app

@rickscully @marcoarment To be honest, this prompted me to look at some other options and Apple Passwords simply wouldn’t work for me. No option for storing credit cards, software licenses, or notes, and no system for tagging or grouping items make it a non-starter. That said, I’m sure it’s a great option for most people that just need to save a few passwords

@davidbcohen @rickscully @marcoarment My 1Password plan doesn’t renew until this fall, so I plan to look at other options before then

@matt_birchler @comfortzone Also, “Nelian”

@comfortzone @matt_birchler This is great! Also nice to have one place to see all the shownotes for every episode

@rickscully @marcoarment It’s 33% for the individual plan (in the US) $36 -> $48 / year

@nileane @tinystartapp I haven’t been using the app for too long so I don’t know if this is just how the app behaves on relaunch, but I seem to have lost my “recents” history with the update. Not that there was much there since I just started using the app today Otherwise it’s been great so far!

@phxrailfood@epicure.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social One thing that isn’t immediately obvious is that you need to set up the link on your site first, and then add the link to your profile here. Additional info: https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/profile/#verification

@Cafeine@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social Make sure you add the link to your profile here after setting it up on your site

@matt_birchler@mastodon.social Congrats on launching! I’ve been pretty happy with GoodLinks, but always good to see another read later option! This category feels a lot like weather apps– everyone wants a slightly different set of features

@nileane@nileane.fr @TangerineUI@nileane.fr Completed all 3 categories, I went with https://translifeline.org/ for an organization

@neatnik@social.lol This looks interesting, I’ve honestly never had much use for IRC, but I recently tried getting it set up and wasn’t thrilled with any of the Mac clients I looked at
