Many thanks for the support from the latest album release.
https://nilehn.bandcamp.com/album/ehcosine

It has been a big journey and there is so much more to bring and so much more coming soon.

We have big news in @computerclub@mastodon.social as well to follow in the next few weeks. I’m just waiting for Jake Mehew [the other co-founder] to come back from a trip so we can go ahead with things.

It’s gonna be special!

Hey @mirlo@musician.social - good news. Not only have we got a fresh @computerclub@mastodon.social account on here, we also have our YouTube channel up [after our other one was deleted from existence] currently with most recordings from the latest Computer Club v5.0, with one more left to upload for v5.0

We have more recordings to put up very soon

I’ll be getting the live set put up on music platforms very soon. Of course on Mirlo 😘

@mirlo here’s a wee bit of lore for the cover of the release. That’s the inside of a thermal cup with tea inside

Another tidbit about our website It has no cookies or tracking embedded that will slow down the experience of visiting Personally don’t believe in such things & made sure that the site is built ‘in-house’. The only third party tools used are the music & video players. YouTube players are set to ‘no cookies’ One I can’t alter is the Bandcamp location for ’where people are listening’ Other than that, it’s meant to be fast & nice looking without distraction #computerclub #webdev

Also, images are set to both a standard & have an ‘image fallback’ The ‘image fallback’ is to use WEBP images when available, making the site load quicker. If WEBP cannot be used, JPEG is loaded. Not all WEBP images are made smaller due to how color affects the file size The standard is for width & height sizing. For square images, they are 1470 x 1470. For things like posters, where the width or height would be bigger, sizing is 1470 x 2079 SVG is used for any icons

We have got our own Mastodon account for Computer Club

@computerclub@mastodon.social

We will be putting our updates, upcoming events as well as site updates which will include blog posts and other news

There’s still a few updates we’re doing to the account. But there is enough info to work with for now

Happy to say that we have a YouTube channel that will be archiving the performances from past Computer Club events

Sadly we don't have every Computer Club event. But we have a fair portion that is being uploaded as we speak

@ComputerClubArchive@www.youtube.com

Go check it out!

Annoyingly Youtube deleted our previous channel off the planet. So we had to do another one

Computer Club v5.0 went off fantastically!

It was such a pleasure work with AM sin and Musaji.
A great night with a great crowd and such a lovely variation of music that gets better each time we organise and run each event

We did record the entire night as well. So expect to be listening to that soon
