🌸 In a Napoleon-esque move, I have appointed myself official flower of the #fediverse. 🌸
Playing guitar now hurts me wee arms/fingers but certainly gives a vibe.
i must thank my trumpet playing friend who, when I left a band for health reasons, reminded me that I can still sing.
I kinda’ discounted that at the time, because I was dissapointed not to continue playing instruments at a high level, but it proved true.
Songs starts in your mind and singing is just about the best thing we can do for our hearts!

Making a demo is like a journey to the underworld I tell ya. I lose all perspective and emerge changed.
Then I get very nervous that my collaborators will hate it and refuse to play so am sharing one of their feedback's here because it trompled all the doubts.

At the market yesterday, I heard a loud singer and thought it was a busker…so moved to investigate. I felt so inspired to see it was just a market patron being generous with their gifts.
An example of community norms that I am quite taken with:

We did a wine-tasting style assessment: X immediately picked up notes of 'awesome' & 'incredible'. I confirmed this strongly & added tones of 'sultry', 'powerful', 'confident' and 'in charge'. We both almost simultaneously tasted Lana del Ray. (Hmnn…)Grace Jones, I definitely tasted KD Lang and Bjork. Overall, wow! Truly mind-blowingly beautiful. This better not be collecting dust somewhere.
