NerdNextDoor

New instance, my second one ever, new #Introduction time! (Or rather, reintroduction. Adapted from my old introduction.) Hi, I'm NerdNextDoor! I'm Scottish and on the autism spectrum which was diagnosed in 2021. I'm left-wing as well and an LGBTQIA+ ally. I just moved from mastodon.social to social.bear-den.org if you're a little confused about why you're seeing this elsewhere. I originally joined Fedi on July 13th 2023 on Mastodon, this is my first time using GoToSocial as my main Fedi server other than when I set up and used the @projectanchorage@social.bear-den.org account. This will be fun! I do lots of things like music, programming (usually low-level stuff), blogging at nerdnextdoor.net, other technical stuff and I contribute to other software on the interwebs. I also run projects such as #EVi, #CoffeeBSD, Inori and plenty of other things. I might have dropped around 176 followers in the move to Bear-Den from Mastodon so if you followed me before this and you aren't following me here, would you mind re-following me? Thanks in advance! You can reach me at here at this account, on Matrix at @nerdnextdoor@social.bear-den.org:matrix.org, OFTC's IRC/Matrix bridge at "NerdNextDoor" (usually I hang out at #evi or #coffeebsd) and the Starlight Network's IRC also as "NerdNextDoor". Thanks! Please #Boost this post so more people know where I went! :D #Fediverse #Fedi #Reintroduction

Fuck KDE, fuck AI, fuck fashtech. As a now former Plasma user, I feel extremely disappointed in the position of KDE. Go fuck yourself, slop apologists.

@techokami@woof.tech well, I don't actively use Linux. I'm a macOS person for specific reasons, mainly in software. If I had to jump on Linux or BSD, I pray Budgie isn't AI infested. If that is, then I'll just use the CLI. If that is also somehow AI slopped, then I'll move to fucking NeXTSTEP 3.3 or Ubuntu 8.10.
