But because of this, presence is heavy and far from scalable (see https://github.com/element-hq/synapse/issues/9478) Oh, and I forgot to mention that IRC also lacks a roster (a.k.a buddy/friend/contact list). But depending on your needs, I think this can be both good and bad.

@rdnmz Saya awalnya juga bodo amat wkwk. Tapi lama-lama gatal juga. Mungkin karena udah membatasi diri sejak dari sistem operasi, DE/WM, dan aplikasi yang dipakai yak haha Nah ini, saya gak kepikiran (dan juga males) pakai WM atau DE selain GNOME seperti Xfce. Dari Ubuntu 18.04, EndeavourOS, sampai Fedora pakai GNOME terus haha. Baru sekarang pakai non-GNOME (Pantheon) karena elementary OS. Saya justru terbantu dengan service/daemon earlyoom, kerjanya mirip systemd-oomd. Saya agak trauma dengan systemd-oomd karena pengalaman pakai Fedora yang cuma pakai zram secara bawaan. Ini di elementary OS keknya gak ada userspace OOM-killer (entah kenapa), padahal Ubuntu dengar-dengar sudah pakai systemd-oomd by default. Dengan konfigurasi sekarang sih gak ada masalah, tapi saya coba eksplor userspace OOM-killer nanti.

@irfan@sakurajima.social I used to use zram+swapfile with Fedora Linux. In my experience, using zram+swapfile together has a negative impact on performance compared to using zram alone, especially when there’s memory pressure. Not a sudden freeze, but more of a slow, steady decline.

@62ch Tapi faktanya 4GB di Linux itu “lebih cepat dari Windows sampai semua ngefreeze”. Windows 10/11 memang bloated for sure, tapi dia gak pernah lag atau ngefreeze padahal buka tab di Firefox lumayan banyak. Sesuatu yang bertahun-tahun bikin heran dan mikir apa yang salah dengan manajemen memori di Linux wkwk.

@poes@sok.egois.org Setahuku karena memang dock di Mac itu untuk aplikasi dan file bukan widget. Kalau menurutku sendiri jujur kurang suka widget ditaruh di dock kayak gini. Jatuhnya kayak widget matahari awan (cuaca) di taskbar Windows 11, cuma buang-buang space.

Most people believe that you can’t change from Telkomsel Halo (postpaid) to Simpati (prepaid) without changing the phone number. I don’t blame them though because the staff at GraPARI may have told them so. This premise is only true if your phone number have 0811 prefix or your cellular plan is contract. You don’t even have to go to GraPARI. According to the terms on that page, you can’t process if you’ve used Halo for more than six months, but I believe you can process anyway. @kitsune Saya kira pengguna fedi kaya RAM semua wkwk Yah at least dikasih zram-swap memang udah mendingan biar produktivitas tetap lancar tanpa terhambat walau harus ada perjuangan soal pemakaian CPU yang terus peak tiap waktunya diatas pemakaian memorinya :jiangfeng_sweated: Coba pakai LZ4 atau variannya LZ4HC untuk algoritma kompresi. Tetep ada CPU tax tapi seenggaknya lebih ringan untuk CPU kelas bawah seperti milik saya wkwk.
