Anything else I'm forgetting or you want to know? :)

@clickhere @baoigheallain @dec23k @Rubelicious quite often I find people walking and swaying onto the cycle paths so I ring the bell from a distance and that usually does the job ... if I'm on some kinda shared path or the odd time I cycle on the path (it's rare but there can be a reason) I'll just go very slow. A lot of the time I'll just cycle past people slowly so as not to give anyone a fright
Had to give the Lumineers version of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" a go ...
Trying to learn the piano as well but this is just my vocals for now. Not a very complicated piano piece BUT at the limit of my ability for now and to sing at the same time is beyond me ...
Completely addicted to the song #Overkill by Colin Hay / Men at Work ... kids are home though on holidays this week / next so unfortunately can't record properly ... first draft using a crappy half broken phone earsphones / mic #singing #cover #menatwork #colinhay #song #music #mastodaoine ... it appeared in an episode of Scrubs as well with Colin following JD around singing it
Completely in love with this track by Vanessa Da Mata & Ben Harper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSTWcsU91ZY

@baoigheallain Trying to sing various songs and finding a lot of acoustic versions (covers) are really nice so I've been finding some real gems out there from people I've never heard of before :)
I think Ramble On is and has been my go to Zeppelin song for a long time must actually try singing it again I couldn't quite get it a few years ago :D
WOW that is a beautiful #ledzeppelin cover .. Going to Callifornia ... from Sierra Eagleson ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEcoxUZnsMc #music #cover
You add a constraint in some code ... but that was 10 years ago and there was a reason at the time except it was a date constraint and it's 2026 now and that would never come about ... I swear there was a valid reason at the time ... guess we'll add another 10 years to that .. ah ... it's working again :D
Did everybody have that folder where you kept all the music you loved .. no particular order ... no file name convention just lots of random tracks ... just found a folder on an old dying disk and it is glorious! :D

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social I love these things .. "We may still process information about you to develop and improve AI at Meta, even if you object or don’t use our Products."
Another day ... another AI image supplied ... I automatically check these days ... many of these people / groups don't have a budget for an artist ... but you'd think they could try to get some of their members involved in creating something. It's becoming more and more common place in all things .. until the arse falls out of it and it starts costing end user money and they decide oh we can't actually afford a subscription
That's some weather we're having!
Getting sent official communications in a word doc which has two images that need to appear in a certain way however I don't have the original version of Word? they are using and I'm on a Mac ... could they not just send 1 image that I just include? Gov depts!
So I've a spam email address I use that isn't my name or anything related to it. I use it to sign up to things I feel may be a bit spammy ... not that often ... I've just gone through 3000 emails .. the amount of emails some crowds send is insane! AI generated muck? Can anyone read all this crap? I've been signed up to onlyfans .. dating sites and god knows what else. Does opt in email subscriptions mean nothing to these people?

and queue the Viral April Fools AI Generated videos ...
Vibe coding but you've got to bloody well hold it's hand every step of the way :D
OK I'm very confused ... https://www.rte.ie/news/politics/2026/0401/1566196-cabinet-updates/ they are banning a bike? because someone was hit by a bike? Will they be banning all cars as well? 190 dead last year on the roads which I assume means cars. (Obviously I'm not understanding something here)
xdkc's What if ... is kinda fascinating .. lots of things I'd not thought about there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7B0MzvwDcA
I really feel he got confused ... people were saying ... oh jesus .... Trump!!! ....
This is the problem with AI it didn't realise the difference!

@allancavanagh So they don't actually say how much they paid for them? Shouldn't have information be publically available ... they just talk about 100k in royalties a year
@YannC@piaille.fr quelle chanson? :)
The great thing about the invoice / receipt emails from Hertz ... the fact they aren't for me and there's no way to reply to the email to say hey this is the wrong person.
Woke up ... got out of bed ... dragged a comb across my head ...
I miss my hair !!! (mostly just shaved though who knows)
News story about marathon runners helping out a struggling runner in Boston ... all I can think is ... isn't that just the right thing to do? Not sure if there's a huge bonus to finish with an amazing time. Of course yes 50 - 100 people passed by .. they might not have been in a place to be able to help (energy / strength) but anyways ... fair play and all that
Hang on it's Czechia now? I never got the memo
