@teohhanhui @0xabad1dea Yes, Boodberg is deeply weird, but he also argues very carefully in his paper "Philological Notes on Chapter One of the Lao Tzu". One could make the argument that the entire paper is the translation, just like the traditional interlinear commentaries of classical Chinese texts in a sense are a part of the tradition just as much as the actual texts.
