@sheogorath I sensed a great disturbance, as if a thousand pods cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced…
I woke up to check and found the third node in a NotReady state. 😢
(Not really - my 4-year-old woke me up because she was thirsty. I just happened to notice the notifications from AlertManager 😄)
So… what is a reasonable time to buy hardware? Asking for a cluster. I mean a pod. I mean… a friend. 😓 #homelab #k8s
Three of my mini-PC power supplies have died over the last 2–3 months.
That’s half my #K8S cluster unavailable right now. 😓
All three nodes are old Optiplex 3010s, and their #QuickSync support isn’t great anyway. Right now #Plex / #Jellyfin is pinned to a single node with the “newest” CPU for transcoding.
Debating whether to replace the PSUs or just upgrade the dead nodes to newer mini-PCs.

I know its a controversial opinion on here, but I'm not against using LLMs.
But at the same time, I don't think it's something to flex about.
Is it just me, or does it feel really weird to type on a tablet?
Typing on a phone feels natural to me. Watching videos tablet is fine, pressing icons/buttons on a tablet is fine but I don't know.... typing on a tablet feels unnatural to me.

Magic smoke just came out of my rotel amplifier :(
Now the whole house smells of burnt plastic.
I think it is beyond repair. The smoke came out of the transformer. I will open it up over the weekend. #hifi #audio #electronicsrepair

@sheogorath Honestly, I’ve been feeling quite depressed about the state of the world. Things feel backwards, and it feels like we’re hit with propaganda from every direction.
Perhaps I am just being pessimistic, but it feels like the world is just getting worse and worse, and I don't see things improving. :(

@benjamineskola To be honest, when I wrote my blog post I was watching some videos about this topic, and I just felt a little bit overwhelmed by it to be honest. I've been using Claude Code, but everything seems to change so quickly it's overwhelming a little bit. I was thinking "I need to learn a bit about this stuff to stay relevant", but I don't really know "what" to learn.

Does this kind of thicker stringing look like due to wet filament? Or something else? I know the very fine, cotton candy like fluffy stringing is due to wet filament, but I'm not sure if this ticker one is also. #3dprinting #3dprinter
Pretty burnout lately.

Help. Not sure if I'm just being dumb.
I have a K8S service. From one pod, I can connect to it just fine, from another, I cannot.
But from the pod that I cannot connect to it from, I am able to connect directly to the pods behind the service.
Any ideas why this would happen?

@benjamineskola Hmm, I get the instinct to ignore it.
It doesn’t feel essential yet, but at the same time, I feel like it doesn’t feel safe to dismiss it completely.
The market seems to be shifting, and companies are starting to push AI internally.
I feel like it's something I will need to learn and adapt to, or I won't have a job in a few years. The issue is, I just don’t know how to adapt yet, and that was my point. 😅
Whats the best option for #Android on X86? I want root access on it though.
Finally bought Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. It came with Remake as well. Its been so long since I played FF7 Remake, so I will play through that again first.
I don't think i will be able to buy the next one on physical media, or second hand 😫

The dead nodes are Optiplex 3010, which are pretty old. I can't remember which CPUs they have, but they only have 4 cores total.
