Maruno Ulfdrengr & Zwarte Woef

*Zwarte Woef* I was able to go into some of the cabs! Look, I am a train driver! Only these controls are not at plushie height! Ulfdrengr just whispered me as we had quiet cuddle that in a different life he'd be a train driver.... I can understand why!

I thought these didn't exist anymore, this interior! This is what I was in for all the train journeys as a kid! (But then in the ICM Koploper) I thought it was all binned with the modernisation of the Koplopers. So much nostalgia instantly and these leather benches were so comfy. I have finally been able to show Zwarte Woef! ^_^

All sizes of shark here.

@Weehaj@blahaj.social Awesome, you seem to have a good view out over the tracks! That cab seems Haj-proof!

@Weehaj@blahaj.social Yes, we seen many more plushie friendly tables thus far! We are being ripped off a bit with the tiny ledges sometimes these days.

Ooh, nobody told my Amersfoort is pretty!

@uvok@woof.tech @kianga@fedi.tail.ooo Here in The Netherlands Dutch Sinterklaas treats entered the supermarket mid summer... Was insane to see it next to the summer BBQ stuff. And some of it is now lying there looking sorrow and melted. xD Not sure why they do this, it's above all in the way taking up space.

@yagfox@mastodon.social I want to say you got an amazing outfit, super pretty!

@Weehaj@blahaj.social Yeah, not easy to become a train driver! How did they do it for you on the tram?

@Weehaj@blahaj.social *Zwarte Woef* Nah, they made up for it with cuddles and showing Amersfoort. And they bought new records, which I know means more cuddles :3

Making new cold goodness, cantaloupe sorbet :3

The primary talks I want to go for today at EMF summarised: I like trains :3

Ooh, a locomotor with old goods wagons!

I was surprised the DB had a wireless charger, but it was broken. Now this bus has that and wired charging wow. And much better working AC! Ok, it is the famous Arnhem trolleybus. :P

Norwegian prefab houses after the 1953 water disaster were lots of people lost their home, never seen one before. Very sparce but probably very welcome back then

I must say, I expected a bit more of the first class seat in this train. NS has recline LOL, DB nah

Really arrived way too late to properly see everything (because of a combine harvester holding us up half the way), really could have spend more time here for sure. :(

@Fensterbanknoergler@mastodon.social Oooh, das ist sehr schön! <3

Even more Rotterdam trams!? They really are lost!? You said we were in Arnhem???

*reads the news and sighs* I guess this guy just came from the extreme right police confrontations in The Hague...

Also got the keyboard hexpansion working! And added detection of it in the port to rotate the screen in my app! :3

@philpem@digipres.club I got it 10 minutes after it happened. Probably technical issues. But many others knew

@Conell@meow.social I absolutely loved this one, thank you so much! :

Rail maintenance train! :3 Impressive machines!

*Zwarte Woef*: What is this!? A DDZ... *Ulfdrengr*: We had to change Woef... *Zwarte Woef*: Excuses, we could have just... Missed the changing?

Arrived at EMF and put up the tent, a bit exhausted from lugging things across the field in this heat... Not used to this. 🙃

Boarded the ferry back home and we got a upgraded room with a biiiig window outside! Plushie can see everything from here! Might be nice to look outside in the morning. :3

Really should have waited a bit and paid 3,50 extra for the luxury speedy train... I am now enjoying someone sitting in first class playing Spanish YouTube videos on full volume? WTF...

Last night of EMF, it's been my first time and since the closing ceremony, just... Emotions... I really enjoyed this and I was surrounded by so many wonderful people without needing to mask anything. For a while the little world here felt like home vs. the foreign world outside! I am going to be so sad going back home tomorrow...

Here is the real team! Interesting, it seems to be lost!? Schiebroek is near our home town and RET is from our town too???

@karpour@mstdn.social I have just bought my first record from YMO last weekend! I have yet to listen to it! I am coming from being a fan of Ryuichi Sakamoto! I am quite curious :3

It was super fun this EMF, in the way back home with some good sadness! The furry village definitely helped me feel right at home and overcome the social anxiety that made me doubt if it was for me. I am glad to say I was completely wrong and EMF was fantastic. <3 I definitely want to try more hacker/chaos events in the future to see if more of them are right for me. ^_^

More pretty lights here! <3

*Zwarte Woef* I came across a cuddly little @kayrie@blahaj.social at EMF! Was great to meet up quickly!

@loops@neurodifferent.me Not sure how/if they calculate it through. Ours in The Netherlands is a bit weird in that zero sugar products also get the sugar tax... But on this trip to the UK it seems like the amount of sugar determines how much extra the manufacturer needs to pay or something and they seem to not even offer any full fat ones at Subway for example except one.

@Nikkileah@mendeddrum.org Yeah people started making various unofficial ones I believe.

@badge@social.emfcamp.org Some midnight hacking in the tent later I now fixed my booping feature using the new touch inputs! Also wanted to figure something out with the proximity but I can't reliably get it to trigger or not, it seems a bit too sensitive. Will have to check later, sleep time now.

@tretron@bark.lgbt I meant, I never expect much from a wall, but normally it is okay. This time it was definitely not. Oh and their milkshakes are the best available on stations, can't help myself with those.

Saw Colossus working, super impressive and warm because of all the valves!

Pretty lights, we are really looking the atmosphere at #emfcamp :O
