@DJGummikuh@mastodon.social @0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange same here in Düsseldorf. Keeping the balcony door open overnight with a fan pulling cool(er) air from outside overnight got my living room back to 24 before it started heating up again. I’m keeping the AC on and barely managing to keep the house under 27 on average.

@Timpostma@mastodon.world @matt5sean3@urusai.social in addition, many bed slingers are not designed with enclosure in mind, so you need to be mindful of the heat management otherwise you risk creating a fire hazard. And yeah, cats and 3d printers. Not a fun combo.

Well, apparently things in the VC world are rougher than expected and it's time to start applying to jobs again.

If anyone knows of job openings for backend dev, preferably PHP, in Düsseldorf and region or remote, I'd be happy to have a chat.

I don't have a lot of experience with frontend to consider myself a full-stack dev, but honestly I can learn stuff pretty quickly when I have a specific need that compels me. :)

@Eisregen@mastodon.social @Yuvalne@433.world sort of, he syphoned a huge number of papers from JSTOR, supposedly with the intention of making them public, but was prosecuted for it, and was about to face a mountain of debt due to fines, plus up to 35 years in prison.
