Beavers are also helpful in restoring groundwater, wetlands, and fish populations. So much so that California has an official beaver restoration program .#beaver

That 'one big beautiful bill' from last year cut about a trillion dollars from US healthcare, with more of those cuts scheduled to happen after the next election. Any politician who voted for it is complicit. Sweep them out.

If you use a forklift in the gym instead of lifting the weights yourself, you're never going to develop your strength.

I used to toss peanuts to crows regularly, and they were comfortable approaching me. One day in early winter, an hour or so after sunrise, a crow walked close, in front of me, between me and the sun. I was wearing amber polarized sunglasses, and just for ten seconds or so I saw red and turquoise bars on its wings - one of the most astonishing and beautiful things I remember. I've never been able to duplicate it, and have never found corroborating evidence, but I remember thinking "oh that's how they can tell each other apart"

How: If you go to purgepalantir.com and you go to the Palantir Payroll tab, you can actually see all the politicians in the United States, Democrats and Republicans, who are on the Palantir payroll — who have taken Palantir money. You can say, "Am I down for mass surveillance? If I'm not — Democrat or Republican, or wherever on the spectrum I am — I don't want my elected champion on the Palantir payroll." You can join the campaign to get your member of Congress off the Palantir payroll.

I like the Pilot G-2 07 mechanical *pencil* because the metal pencil lead sleeve fully retracts, prevented holes in the pocket, and because it is shorter than the pen version. It is possible to legibly print fine and small lettering that doesn't smear with the pencil, harder to do with the pen.

I see young people on them, with a bowl of cereal cradled in one arm, a spoon in the other hand, eating breakfast as they zip down the bike lane. Or holding a tray with a couple of cups of coffee, as if delivering a take-out order.
There's only one film this year that has

which says, for the most part:
"I am not an advocate for frequent changes in laws and constitutions, but laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind...., with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also to keep pace with the times.
We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy as a civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors." - Jefferson
